@StickyTheStickInsect
Sorry to hear about Violet but glad you got a bit of extra time for hugs and snuggles.
I'm not a fan of caskets myself - OH went ahead and ordered one for one of our lovely cats but in the end I asked him to put it in the garden. After that we have simply got the ashes back and scattered them in a favoured place. I like to think of them still snoozing under their favourite bush. Strangely my family did similar with my dad!! While most of his ashes are at the cemetery a portion were scattered around the base of his favourite apple tree. There's a small plaque on the tree too. Mom's will join him in both locations in the coming months (for those unaware, yes she's recently died and been cremated). And again oddly as we all move locations - we've moved house and the farm's hopefully going to be sold soon - we leave loved ones behind. But I still think it's nice to remember them in their special places.
Oh dear, mooshy me. Xmas tree and decs down and decluttered! 🤗 is there a thread for 2025 decluttering? I am going to bring it in 2025! Made such a dent this year and house needs lots more consistent decluttering and a glow up. I am going to paint every room! I’m determined! I don’t think I’ll do it in one go! Thinking of a room a month maybe?! Decluttering will coincide nicely. That’s the plan anyway 💪🏼💯🤩Emergency Fund: 1000/2000August Grocery Challenge: 208/550

Hugs @Brie and @StickyTheStickInsect
I've had so many cats that I'd be running out of space if I kept their ashes and I have also moved a few times.
What I've done is think of plants that somehow link to them, for example Cid was a lovely black cat so he's a black hollyhock in my garden. Having moved back from France I've just been re-buying their memory plants for my new garden. For me I get great pleasure looking at the plants and the wonderful memories of each cat flood back. Plants for cats 5 and 6 have been ordered and should be arriving soon. 😁💕
