TC77, sorry to hear that you felt under the weather after your flu jab 🤒 Great work with the decluttering, tidying & cleaning 👏 Good luck with the formal complaint against the energy company 🍀 I am awarding you a medal 🏅 for tackling frogs (especially as I understand how difficult they can be 😉)
Lovely post daisy_1571 😊 & some great questions 👏
vulpix, that chair looks wonderful 🥳 The CS will have no trouble selling it 😊 Pleased to hear that ‘knit & natter’ went so well & that you are now fully up to date with all the gossip 😅 Good luck with all your crafting plans 🍀
Great post QueenJess 😊
tiddles, a couple of lovely posts from TC77 & QueenJess which will hopefully give you a few ideas of how to proceed with your decluttering 🤞 My tuppence worth is to try to ‘gently coax’ the other members of the household to join in by tidying up after themselves & perhaps helping you out by decluttering a few bits 😉 Good luck 🍀
Great ideas daisy_1571 👏
vulpix, I see you are making great progress with your crafting 👏 At this rate you will be all finished by the weekend 😉
Janeryan, lovely to see a new face 😊 There will most certainly be a 2025 Decluttering Thread 😊 It looks like you have a busy year ahead - retirement & moving house 🤩 I am looking forward to following your decluttering journey.
Florenceem, apologies for not posting - sheer laziness on my part 😉
florianatwobob, I do admire a spontaneous decluttering session 👏 It is surprising how much gets done when the mood takes one 😊 Both the light trail & the one man performance sound marvellous 🤩 Though I am curious to know if the chap wore lots of different costumes 🧐
Florenceem, sorry to hear that you have been feeling so unwell 🤒 Although I am even sorrier to hear that despite acknowledging you were unwell, SA put so much on you & have also scuppered your plans for Monday 😔 I understand that you don’t like saying NO, but for your own health please, please think of yourself for once 🙏 🙏
GrannyKate, you have been busy 👏 Good luck with your hunt for a new to you car 🍀 Now the ‘wagging finger emoji’ - please take care of yourself - no more trips outside in the rain 🙏
QueenJess, sadly not fantastic but definitely productive in a small way - fridge cleaned & freezer defrosted 🙂 Still need to restock from the garage freezer though 😉
Breaking off here as I need to start prepping for tonight’s dinner - roast pork with all the trimmings. Hope all our poorlies are spending time in the TLC Carriage 😊 Cwtches for all who need or would like one 🤗 See you later 👋

Ah no Mrs SD, he remained in his velvet frock coat and brocade waistcoat. He uses the version it’s believed Dickens used at his one man show. Alongside some modern wizardry sound effects for clock chimes and dimming the lights.

Hi everyone. Hugs to those in need.
Sorry to be awol again.
My headspace is all over the place at the moment, and really need to be able to do at least the maths work and keep on top of the housework. Plus attempt to practice the tai chi and reading the bible most days.
I've managed to declutter several blankets, approximately 10 mugs plus binned a pillow.
I'm going to sort out the black bag, food waste plus paper recycling for the morning.
I've come to realise that I should have kept my small slow cooker, so have managed to find the money to replace it as well as buying another small one.
So they will be cleaned up and put to good use tomorrow so I can have lunch as well as dinner ready.
Edit to add, I've also had to find money for 2 pairs of jeans in a lager size as am struggling to get back into the healthy eating.
It's a nuisance as I was doing so well and for just over a year now ive been struggling.

Mrs SD , thank you for my medal, really appreciated and already polished! I am keen to knock some of these frogs out the pond/ neighbourhood in 2024 .
Your cheerleading and others support makes all the difference.
@Liverpool_Anne, sounds awful nightmare and know they feel they go on for hours...
@Brie please take care of yourself
Took sold trousers ( never worn) to be posted with packaging.
Unsure how my dining table is piled full of things when I didn't have one for about 4 months!
Started frog for dd1 after work.

I am so sorry to hear your news Brie. Xxxxxx:13

@Brie - sorry to hear about your mother, but it sounds like it was expected. Looks like you were better organized than I was even though we should have been totally prepared with my mother; a couple of things took awhile longer than expected. Still dream she is traveling with me, which is what we had planned to do after my father passed away. But she went downhill very fast and we were never able to do any trips.
Still down with the lurgy. Missed class this morning, but have done half of my week's homework already. Have crocheted some this morning, but not up to much. I just look at what needs to be done, shrug, and walk away at this point. This to shall pass.
We were supposed to get windy weather, but those going to Disneyland must have wished it away.
Will be going back to bed soon, as I have a meeting to go to tomorrow and we really need to get it done. Our last Book Sale of the year is this Friday. I will only be able to be there at the very beginning and at the end as I have a class and Di has a program to go to in the middle. Then we just have to gear up for next year, including three two-day sales (Friday and Saturday). We used to only have the sales on Saturday, but Covid got in the way. When the library re-opened there wasn't enough staff for us to do anything on Saturday. We will see how it goes.
Stay warm, dry, and out of the wind. Hugs all around.12 -
Brie - condolences on your loss.
Re SA - there are not a lot of people who will go up on the platform to do a reading. I never thought that I would.
Very wet and windy day here.
I went back to sleep after the alarm - woke at 8.40 - meant to be at SA - 9am - I was 1.5 minutes late.
So much to count - time of year for lots of donations - I didn't get home until 1.
Wrapped and labelled parcels and then argued with Mr F who insisted that he could go out in the strong winds into town. I won and set off into town for the post office which wasn't too busy. The rain was heavy when I walked down further into town. I posted the rest of the parcels and started back home.
As I passed £lan. - I saw they were selling selection packs for £1 instead of £1.65 so I bought all they had - 107 for SA. C told me to get a receipt and he will do a bank transfer. I asked if they had any more selection packs in the stock room but I had cleared them out.
I went straight to SA and unloaded the selection packs.
When I got home I went online and bought another 80 packs.
Been listing on V. C's wife gave me 4 dolls to try and sell - will take photos tomorrow.
I am getting through tissues and my nose is sore.
Heard that Dgs is back from Bahrain but not found out what went wrong yet.
Sales on V - £26.50 yesterday and £48.50 today.

As DH had offered, he peeled all the vegetables & I just salted the pork joint 😉 Although I have filled the salt container from a bag of salt + transferred one drawer of food from the garage freezer to the kitchen freezer. Sorted out the glass jars from the fridge decluttering + had a look in my jar cupboard - a total of 9 recycled 😉
252 - 260 Glass jars recycled
London_1, 😣 hope the sore back improves quickly & that the bruises are on their way out 🤞It sounds like you had a lovely weekend with DGS Jack 😊 That BHF shop sounds wonderful & definitely a worthy cause 👏 So organised, I still haven’t written any Christmas cards apart from the overseas ones & still need to find a little something for DH & DSis to unwrap 😔 Although there is one bright spot - we have a 90th birthday party to attend on the 15th so I can hand deliver quite a few cards 🙂
basketcase, sorry to hear that you have been feeling so tired 😔 Possibly a combination of dark, cold & dreary days & perhaps you haven’t been sleeping well 😔 Excellent work with the NSDs 🥳 & good luck with the Admin Alligators 🍀
weenancy, apologies if somehow we have managed to turn a computer virus into an actual virus 😔 Although it sounds like you have had a rougher time than many of us on this side of the Pond 😔 I am sending healing vibes & hope that you are now on the mend 🙏 Meanwhile Well done on summoning up the energy to clean part of the refrigerator 👏 Looking forward to seeing the pictures of the comfort chicken & chick & the hand sewn bags 😊
Excellent work on dealing with paperwork aka Admin Alligators TC77 👏
Dinner was delicious 😋- roast pork with crackling, roast potatoes, carrots & turnips + cabbage & hm gravy. Wudupa. Did a few rows of knitting, fell asleep whilst watching Vera. Just woke up so will post this & head to bed.
