Hi everyone.
Sorry I've been missing in action.
I've still been trying to declutter and have managed to re-home some boots I didn't like, a small bag of art supplies plus a couple of other bits.
I've had a bed frame go out as I'd broken the trying to put it back together.
I've had several sweatshirts come in, plus 2 pairs of boots.
I will need to get a new bedframe and mattress, hopefully soon.
The mattress will then go tooDecluttering campaign 2023

Hi Chums DD came home from work yesterday at lunchtime she's got a streaming cold, and felling very down after losing her little dog as well, and her boss said just go home and get better and gave her a big hug (I hope he doesn't catch her cold) I had it last week so its going round the house, and my son-in law was sneezing this morning.
The good news is i spoke to my friend in Guys Hospital today and she had her operation She had to leave home at 4.00 am last Friday to get into Guys for 7.00am, and eventually had her op. late afternoon
She's hoping she can get out this weekend. She's more worried about her husband as he is wheelchair bound, she said there has been a helper morning and night to help him ,but several times the helper has not arrived until 11.30 am to do his breakfast and get him up,
I said I wished I lived closer as I would willingly have given her a hand, but she can't be trying to overdo it when she gets home ,as she's had a part of her lung removed with the tumour, so no picking up or pushing him anywhere.
She's an ex nurse and knows that she must take it easy, but I know what she's like.
Her daughter lives in the USA and I'm surprised she's not come home for a couple of weeks.
Such a nice couple and she's been her husbands carer for several years , he's also partially sighted so cannot do a great deal for himself Life really is the pits at times
Hope everyone has had a good day. rain due tonight and quite stormy this weekend as well
Take care chums

So many bugs about - now C's wife has Noro virus. Several of us at Church feel as if we are getting a cold.
Yesterday I listed on V and went out to post parcels.
I spent a long time at SA - so many donations coming in at the moment - lots of toys and clothes.
I put 2 tables of bits outside for people to take.
My sister phoned while I was at SA so I rushed home to give her the yarn I had bought on Monday. I went back to SA to finish sorting donations but gave up - as fast as I sorted - more arrived.
One of the helpers had her phone taken at SA - we know who took it. We are always being told not to leave anything valuable in plain sight.
C got the tables and leftover bits in when it got dark.
I wrapped parcels in the evening.
Today was friendship/lunch club - I was sorting donations again. I threw out all the leftover bits from Tuesday. Had help to put out tables and bits again. There were some warm jumpers that were too good to recycle so I put them out on a table.
I delivered a dinner and pud to an elderly lady.
I carried our dinners home and went back to SA.
Done nearly 13,000 steps today.
It was singing group tonight - raining when I walked home.
Mr F is about the same - finished his antibiotics this morning.
My Ddil's father had an op to remove 80% of his stomach on Monday - he has cancer.
I heard yesterday that my Dd's Fil has Leukemia.

Strong possibility of "decluttering" my mom in the next day or so. Not sure what to do about that. It's nearly a full day's travel to get to her so not like I can rush to her bedside. On the bright side my bros and I have plans in place for this sort of thing and have already dealt with a lot of the stuff that was in her home.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. managed to do most of the washing up, and abit of tidying before/after work and drop off CS bag, had added xmas decoration, belt, and out went 6 plastic folders, recycled notebook, some boxes out, - I'm sure more but I've forgotten, Some frogs done.
Hoping at weekend I can unpack 3 modest boxes that came from my dad's , dressing table, side board and wall unit that I brought back are still empty... but plenty to go in them but want to sort through so only keep things I want - ideally.
Fab cheer leading by Mrs SD and many others , @Liverpool_Anne and others.

bought first xmas presents (only really buy for DDs and their stockings....small things, and if I see something for friends, but like me they have most things they need.
Remembered pair of earrings and ring (costume jewellery) also in CS bag so 1784.15 -
Brie, I am sorry to hear your news. xx
Hugs for people having difficult times.
Took more Christmas decorations to the charity shop today and there were the old fashioned wooden decorations that I have been looking for just waiting for me. Also bought a Herdy mug for £1. It makes me think that we have far too many mugs, I will drop at least 2 that I can think of at the charity shop.
Soft plastics to recycling when I go out, also the 2 pairs of black boots to the chazzer.
We were going to go to Chester tomorrow but the weather forecast isn't good. It's the winter parade plus there is an xmas market. They do it all again in a couple of weeks so we will possibly go to that one.
I must say the house is looking lovely with the Christmas decorations done.
No sewing done, I spent the evening making a pom pom garland, as you do.

Can’t wait to get my deccies up at the weekend. Sorry to hear about your cold MrsSD. Hope you and everyone else feeling poorly make speedy recoveries. Gosh Florenceem you put me to shame. Pity about your friend’s phone, when she is trying to help people. Good news about your friend London_1. It seems life piles multiple troubles on some and others bumble through life without a care. Seems so unfair doesn’t it. Went into town armed with a list to get the last of prezzies. All done now. Just got to write cards and post today and wrap a couple of items and I will be all ready for Xmas. Have been collecting food bit by bit over the last few weeks so mainly fresh stuff which has to be last minute. Have a good day everyone14

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 10:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Wednesday started dark, dreary & chilly but was dry with a temperature of 6°C rising to 9°C late evening when the rain started. All 3 of us got up 11:20 as DH & DSis were going on a jaunt to the Antiques Centre & were dropping me off at a DLR station so I could head to Lewisham. DH had a quick bath, we all had a hot drink & we set off at 12:25. I walked round to CS & dropped off 2 bags of items then had a look at the ornaments - picked up one with dolphins (gift for DSis) then headed to M&S where I managed to find a few bits for me - a new pair of slippers (to be wrapped by DH as my Christmas present 😉) & I bought a new bra plus treated myself to a couple of thermal tops & a pair of pyjama bottoms from the men’s section 😉 I then popped into a couple more CS & picked up a brooch (3 cats) for DSis. Back to the DLR station, train followed by bus & I was indoors at 14:30. I had a cuppa, updated my accounts, tried the bra it is a teeny bit snug but allows for the inevitable stretching so should last a while. I have binned the bra I had been wearing. I will gradually replace all my other old bras as a 2025 project 😉 DH & DSis got back 16:20 having popped into MrS on the way home. Fairly successful although they didn’t stop for tea & cake as it was hammering down ☹️ Dinner was sm lasagne & garlic bread. Watched TV with DSis but fell asleep on the sofa for 90 minutes & when I woke up I went straight to bed. DSis kindly did the wudupa & moved the recycling wheelie bin to the end of the drive 😊 I am writing this post now as I woke up for a bathroom break at 06:00 & was very thirsty, so now have a cuppa & will start cheerleading.
204 - 222 Hat, scarf & wrist warmers set x 2, leather jacket, 7 plaited bookmarks, short scarf, wrist warmers, 2025 Calendar x 2, bubblewrap & polyethylene packaging - CS
223 - 226 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 2 cardboard boxes - recycled
227 - 228 Kitchen detritus, old bra - binned
weenancy, now that is a good idea 🙂 I will ponder that 🤔
TC77, good luck with the tidying & decluttering 🍀 Don’t forget to add the decluttered Christmas decorations to your numbers 😊
Thanks vulpix 😊 I did feel a bit better whilst I was out in the fresh air but I was tired by the time I got home 😔 Just wondering when you are starting your crafting school 😉 before or after Christmas? This “TC77, don't worry I still have plenty of stuff, I am just very good at packing it away in cupboards so you can't see it. I have taken to writing down what is in the cupboards for when I want something and don't have to turn the house upside down to find it.” just means that each time you go into a cupboard you have the opportunity to declutter odd items 😊 Good luck with your sewing project 🍀 I do hope it will be possible for you to post a piccie 🙏
Liverpool_Anne,a very busy & successful Tuesday 👏 Hopefully Wednesday was just as successful 🤞Good luck with the crochet 🍀 although I am sure it will be completed & ready for delivery on Sunday 😊 Lovely cheerleading ☺️
Siebrie, are you sure you can’t hibernate in December & just wake up to be spoilt rotten on your birthday 😉 Please, please try to get some rest in between rushing around 🙏
nannywindow, sorry to hear that you are still struggling to get a doctors appointment 😔 Please rant away about your Dad 😉 it is very inconsiderate of him to sack the carers & cleaner especially as you went to so much effort to get everything in place 😔 Don’t forget to visit the TLC Carriage 🙏 I see that there are hm ginger biscuits for us to share 🙂 Your mention of Christmas cards reminds me that having found the box, I really should get around to writing them & sooner rather than later 😉
Thanks for the ginger biscuits QueenJess 😋 Excellent work catching up with the laundry & the baking 👏 Hopefully with all that work no-one else will get ill 🤞 Pleased to hear that DD is better 😊 It sounds like your DD just wanted to spend a bit more time with her mummy 😉 Sending you lots of cwtches 🤗 & a request to please stay in the TLC Carriage at least for a cuppa & a chat rather than just popping in to drop off hm goodies 🙏
Lovely to see you Pennypincin 👋 Sounds like RL has been keeping you busy, so well done on still managing to declutter 👏 Fingers crossed that you can get a new bed frame & mattress before Christmas 🤞
Nodding off again, so will post & head back to bed for a couple more hours sleep 😴
