Many Happy Returns MrsSD.
Yesterday was a good sales day on V - £47.70 so a lot of wrapping up to do today.
This morning I pressed items for V and took photos in the dismal daylight - so overcast here but at least it is not misty like yesterday.
Mr F has gone out to post parcels. I have not been out today yet - that may change if there is a food collection for SA.
I am hoping that the recycling man came today or comes tomorrow - I have had to use the foyer to stack the filled sacks.
I have listing to do on V so must move myself..

Out, 2 skeins of embroidery thread sent to an emergency request from my friend at craft club. 

Huge thick rope taken to man shed for an old pulley. It will look the part as it’s in an old industrial building which is also open to the public. Rope made by hand at our old workplace. 

 Mr V went through some drawers in the shed. A load of cables for the tip. A folder of paper recycled. Plastic pockets given to a school girl down the road. Very tattered folder binned. There is a large plastic box of papery stuff from MIL’s still not touched. I won’t press him to do that yet. 

 Metal clothes rail photographed and listed for sale. 

I have sewn up a knitted baby jumper. Made some bunting, finished the advent calendar. Still time to make more bunting tonight. 

Our neighbour brought some flowers as a Thank You for the shelves.

Happy Birthday Mrs SD hope you have had a great day and been thoroughly spoiled by everyone

plumber came again today and the wash hand basin and loo are installed , back tomorrow to finish off the odds and ends in the shower/loo room

Builder will be back on Tuesday as he’s taken his wife away for a quick weekend as a treat bless him. Not a lot more to do hopefully around a week or so and it will be finished. 

Spent this morning watching the BBC 2 thing about the Lord Lucan mystery. Everything seems to concentrate on him and very little on his poor victim, very sad really

pottered this afternoon finding odds and ends to go to the CS on Saturday when I go to the library as they have a jigsaw sale on in the morning so I’ll pop in there  for a look after I’ve dropped the CS off first. 

I need to pick up some Vit D tabs from H&B as well as one of my test results show I have a great deficiency in it 

posted off a birthday card to my eldest grandson in New York as he’s 34 next week 🙄 doesn’t seem five minutes ago I was knitting him a Postman Pat jumper 🤣 time just seems to go faster the older you become.

only 48 days to Christmas before we know it we will be in 2025 and a quarter of a century since the millennium 😳 
hope everyone has had a good day and are warm and dry as the weather has been nippy and quite damp today

Today was fairly productive - I took some used batteries, a broken plug and an unwanted iron to the small electrical and battery recycling bins at the local library when I picked up some books I’d reserved, decluttered some unneeded blood for blood test and did 3 financial/paperwork frogs. Also got car cleaned, bought petrol and pumped up the tyres so am ready car-wise for my trip, just need to finish packing my suitcase.

Won’t be on here for the next couple of days but will hopefully be reporting in with some helpful decluttering early next week.
