Helloooooooo
still reading all your adventures!
I have updated my figures in my signature and they are as follows:
206-360 a big grouping here of stuff going out, frogs being worked on, IT stuff cleared, household things used up.
Books read - 112. I knew I read a lot didn’t realise how much!
Miles this year - 318. I don’t think I’m going to make 500 as body has decided to stop working properly 😢
We went out with friends Fri to see “the history of rock “ kind of a tribute band and they were amazing!! Sadly body misbehaved so I slept all of yesterday but it was a great night.
Doglets are fine, naughty as ever.
i had to smile about the ironing - with a father in the forces and a very fussy mother I iron almost everything but t shirts only get the sleeves done unless they are really bad.
And I never iron sheets. Rebellion!!!!!
October is a bad month for me - lots of terrible things have happened in October over the years so I keep my head down and suffer more with anxiety. It’s not all bad don’t get me wrong but I’d rather it zoomed past at a rate of knots like lunch breaks, weekends and holidays…..
Take care xx⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Hi
Today I have emptied the suitcases I was living out of and put clothes back in to drawers. And just put two bags for charity shop in the boot of my car to drop off next time I’m out. Suitcases all nested inside each other and back in a tidied out airing cupboard.
Found my curtains and have re-hung them. Found cushions (oh the joy) and an extra long pair of curtains that I’m going to use the fabric for something else.A couple of things chucked out and a little pile of things to go to my daughter.A good start.13 -
Evening All, having 5 min to myself before a nice soak in the bath. After slipping flat on my back 2 weeks ago, my back and neck have not been right so Chiropractor booked for tomorrow. Also booked an eye test as overdue, think new glasses for screen use will be needed.
We ventured out to a seaside town today, started dry then poured down and we perused the charity shops. Some were ridiculous expensive, for that price I rather just buy from the shop. Suffice to say we only came home with a retro casserole dish, then accidentally stopped by the Cadbury shop on the way home.
Decluttering has hit a roadblock, I want the house tidy but just don't know where to start with the stuff. Yet to upload anything to an selling site, just need some motivation!13 -
I've unfortunately had a few things come in.

Yet another tip run this afternoon and the back garage is almost empty ,but the rest of the house is full.Son-in-Law put more stuff in the loft and I found lots of bits here and there to get rid of as well.
I'll be glad when we are straight-out I think it will be at least another month before that happens battings will get in place at some point.DD found a steamer for curtains she was sure ws mine and it definitely wasn't so I texted all the boys and sent a photo and it appears my eldest DD gave it to Henry last year before he owned an iron so he could use it instead and he had forgotten it when he moved out Then Jack popped into the text and said if Henry doesn't need it can he have it so its now in my bedroom safe for when he turns up in three weeks time
Nice to find a home for things at least
Just going to have dinner, and son-in-law has cooked roast beef with all the trimmings
Cheers JackieO xx15 -
Hi,
Liverpool Anne, that’s a shame about your Niece. Come and see me instead. 🤣 I found more spray starch under the sink today.Muddy, stick close to your dog friends for the rest of the month. Pets always know when extra love is needed. X
These blessed tote bags. Finally finished. What a faff. Next time I am tempted to make bags please remind me not to. I haven’t even started the bunting. That will be tomorrow’s job. The sewing machine can go away then until next Preston Guild.Sorted dd1 some cat shaped buttons for something she is making. Also some pins, new needles and a pack of sewing machine needles. She has split the giant plant into 2 just massive plants. 😂
I am really getting down to the tiny stuff to declutter now if I am giving pins away!
Tomorrow I will drop off the cushions and bags and some other bits I have made to a teenage Autism charity for their fundraiser.Take care everyone

@mhagster, so sorry to hear about all the homes that have fallen through and hope you can make your home how you want!
Some packaging out, some paper decluttering, unsubscribed from some emails, a few frogs done, 3 part item returned to swedish shop, counting as 3 as still in 2 lots of packaging and just in time to get a refund. Some more like with like - packaging, old keys (to be tested at some future point) and watched videos on how to use my old film camera, as doing a course with a dark room - meant to find old family negatives but haven;t managed to yet!
1413.
Also set up standing orders for a couple of things I have to keep remembering to do each month.13 -
Morning Peeps,
Well I got into the loft and and emptied half a box. It all got sorted and out of the house. Some random items from parents including the hand made by dad shoe box complete with polishes cloths and brushes ended up in said box. I was surprised at how much smaller stuff was. So there is some head space showing. Got some small objects out that are being donated/gifted. Found a file of paperwork that contains info about our sons achievements in the sport he is involved with. Time for him to have have it, they are his memories not ours. There will be many photos to follow too. I'll let him have the honour of uploading them.
I wish more people would ask for stuff then it could help me and help them and would save me some brain power and no emotional detachment would need to be processed, as their need would be greater than mine.
DH was busy with the chainsaw cutting up wood and tidying the garden at the same time. I did help by sweeping up the debris and getting it moved to where it needed to go. It actually went out the back of the fence onto the path we have created which helps keep the water in the dyke at bay and save us from flooding. Whereas my efforts aren't likely to be seen by anyone else but me.
I (decluttered) pulled the last of the rhubarb out and got that chopped and stewed now ready for being creative with it before freezing it.
I have mentally started packing my suitcase for my week away with the ladies to Tenerife at the end of November. I am locating items that will not be returning back home. It's only a 10kg inclusive weight so I don't think it will have a dramatic effect on my wardrobe contents ever looking diminished
Personal paperwork now goes onto the fire at this time of year and is generally not kept lying about for long, all helps with a declutter maintenance
Actually having written these down I feel a little better about what I did achieve yesterday.
Hugs to those in the TLC
2 Scratters xx

Well now the contents of my office have joined those from the living room in the kitchen. Sitting here surrounded by stuff but it's not a lot and makes me feel very accomplished that we managed to declutter enough when we moved.
I will count the wallpaper in the bags that left the house over the weekend as well as a couple more boxes:
873 - 878: Bags of wallpaper
879 - 880: boxes
The chaos continues, there's dust everywhere, and things are going apace. Sounds like we'll be decluttering a bathroom tomorrow morning now 🤣 It's going to be worth it when it's done...but need to get through the next few weeks first!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 201713 -

Sunday: I got up very, very late - 13:30 😔 There was a message on the answerphone from my cousin R, so made a cuppa & called back. I had to leave a message - we keep missing each other 😔 It was very dark outside although it hadn’t yet rained. The rain or should that be drizzle started about 16:00 & continued on & off for the rest of the day 🙁 Despite that I had a joyous day 😊 First a Sparrow hawk visited the garden twice - standing on the hedge with 2 magpies eyeing it up & 3 squirrels chasing each other round the garden - quite the menagerie 🙂 I was trying to think of a suitable rhyme along the lines of the 12 Days of Christmas 😅 Second I dealt with 2 days mail. Third & most joyous my cousin R phoned back & we had a lovely 40 minute chat 😊 The best news being that her daughter M is getting married 23rd August 2025 🥳 + M has started her PhD & will be spending 3 months (January to March) each year studying in South Africa 🤩 R’s two sons are also doing well - older lad is a teaching assistant & is considering studying to be a teacher & younger lad is almost a qualified electrician 😊 After I explained the about the horrendous canal boat holiday (if you remember I was ill so was fortunate enough not to go 😁) R has changed her mind & will probably have a couple of Spa Days 🤣 Ended the call with a promise to do better at keeping in touch. I spent the rest of the afternoon watching TWD including the final 2 episodes featuring the main character. Dinner was fried chicken, boiled potatoes, carrots & green beans. Wudupa.
Sorry the pictures are blurry but I took them through glass 😉
1729 - 1731 Kitchen recycling, plastic bottle, drinks cans - recycled

Monday is, so far, a much brighter day. I was up at 11:30 & DH managed to be up by 12:15 🙂 The sparrow hawk has visited again (this time under the hedge 😉) & scared away all other wildlife 😉 I will be back later to catch up with the cheerleading as I need to pop out to the P.O.
I hope everyone is having a good day but if not here are 💐 💐 & 🤗 🤗
