Hellooooo - I was off sick yesterday due to treatment and the heat, really knocked me for six. Today - and I don’t know why - I just burst into tears and bawled my eyes out. My poor workmates didn’t know what to do with me but I think I needed it as I felt better after. Probably a combination of stress, family illnesses and def my weight gets me down .
Anyway spent a lovely couple of hours deadheading after tea including rather a lot of tiny caterpillars making a mess. Grrr!
Dog1 left her toy right in front of me to be thrown….dog2 just hurtled round the garden shouting at birds, next doors yappy thing, other next door, then rushed up and shouted at me and then rushed off again. He is such a character 🤣
London1 sounds like you made a marvellous move!
And a big hello to returnees…⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Wednesday2000 is it the epley manoeuvre you are thinking of? I've heard good things about a technique to rebalance the ears which I think is called that
Muddywalker glad the tears helped, good relief of stress

@Brie - great grandnephew was member #100 of SAR; two great great aunts were in 1st chapter of DAR when it first started; I haven't joined yet - I'm not much of a joiner, just British Isles Family History Society and local society so far. Started tracing family history back in 1962. Great uncle got me started with the information on the people who owned a concertina that came over in 1623 from England to Massachusetts. Can't stop now.
@crazybunnylady4 - have you considered taking pictures and sending them to the local paper with what steps you have taken and what rebuffs you have gotten and asking if anyone has ideas to help you - might shame the council into doing something.
Lots of paper going out to be decluttered, about 6 inches worth this week. Kitchen almost done. Need to wash the pantry shelves and put the food back with like kinds together so we can see what we really have.
Took car in for oil change. Needed a new air filter also but had to order it as car is too old (2003). Will arrive in a couple of days. Just have to take it back over to the garage and they will put it in for me unless I do it myself. Have had several doctor's appointments - 2 today for me and 2 for Di today. If I take all of the medical appointments off the calendar, I won't have much to do.
We went to the FamilySearch Center tonight expecting to work for several hours - but it looks like our computers were affected by the international outage and none of them are working. Repair says maybe by the end of the week he will have them up and running, but he doesn't guarantee it. So we have this week off at night and the Center we go to on Thursday is on summer break this week.
It has just been hot here this week (33C). Hope you are enjoying summer weather. Lots of cool drinks are on order.

Morning all. Waiting on organising second visit to bungalow I like with DD. Wandered around and put things away and got rid of random pieces of paper from different surfaces. Thanks for medal for DS2 Mrs SD. He booked a short holiday for end of September this morning - with my brother who lives in Portugal.
808 All August cards bought
809-816 Magazines read through and in recycling (Still have a pile of house and garden ones to read)
817-818 Two books to CS bag
819 Random collection of paper and leaflets to recycling
DGS1 may be up with his mother later this week. I may see if he wants any of my books (second year uni student) - his mother will be horrified as he already has at least 1000. I was supposed to be out to lunch today but cancelled it thinking surveyor was coming then realised it is next week. Oh well my waistline and purse will benefit. Lots of frogs to get on with. EA keeps ringing to ask if I've found somewhere to live yet.

Lots of little bits and pieces done yesterday. Nothing ticked off list but everything I did made me feel better and because it is now done, won’t need to go on a future list.
Today’s plan is more of the same.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅12 -
good morning!! i'm finally up-to-date with everything i decluttered in the past week!
(57) several samples: i collected them over the past year and used the holiday to use most of them up
(58) several beauty products: used up / decluttered
(59-60) bikinis: the only bikinis i owni wore them for a week (changed them in-between) and none of them felt comfy. they looked okay but i was constantly adjusting them and thinking that i'd rather wear another one haha
(61) dress: wore it on vacation and while it looked STUNNING it was so hard to get on and off and i cannot be bothered with it - donated
(62-63) books: one i decluttered at home, the other at the hotel(they had a desk there were everyone could take and / or leave books
(64-66) t-shirts: same with the dress & bikinis ... i tried them on, wore them for a whole day and realized no, they're not for me haha
i'm going thrift shopping today and maybe i find something coolhope you have a nice day!

Muddy, better out than in.You are doing so well. xxxx
LiverpoolAnne, well done for resisting at the garden centre. Fab idea of a pot for a gift.
Thank you for the name of the manoeuvre Daisy, I will be having a crack at that. I have got an elegant sufficiency of ailments without having a new one of vertigo. I have managed to submit a request to the GP today. I am still deaf as a post.
Weenancy, that is amazing that you can trace your family so far back. My parents did our tree and got to 16 something with Dad's side and 17 something with Mum's. Mum's family were from France and were lace makers. Not much call for it after the revolution!
Oceanspirit, I love a list,it's so satisfying when things don't carry over to a new list.
butterfly, well done on not keeping uncomfortable clothes. You have inspired me to try on more of my clothes to see if they are keepers.
I felt gradually improved as yesterday went on. I have been able to get a few things accomplished. I hand sewed some velcro on the selvedge edge cushion cover I made the other day. I am quite taken with it.I also sanded and treated some marks Mr V had made on the worktop in the kitchen. That is a lot more than I did in the previous 2 days. Oh, I did 3 loads of washing too. Mr V's job to peg it out, I am too dizzy for that.
My favourite step son is coming today. (Only Stepson) Hopefully he will be putting the old door back on the bathroom and fetching a beautiful front door from my brothers stable with Mr V. It's oak and weighs a ton. It's quite a pain of a job as the stable is at the top end of a field and a bracing walk! It went in there during one of our house moves, I can't remember why now. We will go to the lovely cafe on the cycle trail for lunch. I would like SS and Mr V to lift some heavy things about in the garden for me,Just to smarten the outside up if we get any house viewings.
Hopefully I will be able to get back to decluttering very soon.

2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Forgot to post last night so just a quick one:
Tuesday: Emptied shredder bin & did a bit more work collating my ‘To Do lists’ - nearly done 😉 Took in a delivery of bird seed, shelled peanuts & suet pellets. DSis decided to go through her jewellery - with the help of my DH she has cleaned all her silver chains & bracelets 👏 Did a bit of knitting. DH made dinner - cheesy pasta (my contribution was chopping up cheese 😂) Wudupa.
It stayed dry all day after the early morning rain 😊
1196 - 1200 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, large paper sack, coffee tin, plastic bottle - recycled
