tc77 and florenceem, you both sound very low.
Hope you get some time talking in real life to some trusted positive family or friends but im keeping everything crossed that you both find some strength to continue helping others but most importantly helping yourselves.
Thanks to everyone who's been sharing childhood stories and also personal health struggles, some really lovely messages in there and it has made for fascinating reading.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Mini Mission in May
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Saturday: The Bridge ‘Hotel’ is actually a Guesthouse 😉 Slept reasonably well 2.5 hrs, 2hrs & 3hrs. Unfortunately a bit of a mad dash to get down to breakfast as DH decided @ 08:20 that perhaps we ought to get up, washed & dressed 😥 All managed in 20 minutes + packed 2 bags in the bike & were sat down for breakfast @ 08:45. Buffet style hot breakfast & make your own toast.
The weather is very overcast & it appears to have rained overnight but is dry at the moment. The current temperature is 14C at 09:40. Last bag is packed so a quick bathroom visit & we are off. On the road 09:55. Weather was dry all day alternating between white clouds, blue sky & sunshine to dark clouds, no blue sky or sunshine. We arrived at our hotel The Balmoral Arms in Ballater @ 15:15. (Same hotel as last year) Our room is on the ground floor & has a wet room & alarm-cord 😉 DH showered & we changed & were out by 16:00 looking for postcards & stamps. Only to find that practically everywhere shut at 16:00 😔 However, the P.O. is in the Co-Op & is open until 22:00 (what a great idea) so I bought stamps & then we managed to find a shop that had stayed open after 16:00 (although they were washing the floor 😉)so I managed to get postcards 🥳 We returned to the hotel & spent 1.5 hours in the bar chatting & drinking. Back to room 18:00 to chill as dinner is at 19:30. The weather is now almost clear blue skies & sunshine 😊 We have had another good day - got all the planned landmarks - old & new - and had pretty decent weather. A bit light on animal sightings today - cows, sheep, horses, corvids & a solitary raptor 😔 If you remember, I said that I had never seen a white foxglove - since that first sighting I have seen them every day 😅 We were booked in for dinner at 19:30. & very tasty it was too 😋 DH had ham hock terrine with a piccalilli chutney & toasted bread followed by a ribeye steak, chunky chips, salad & a pepper sauce - the steak was so tender it almost melted in the mouth 😋 I had a Caesar salad followed by venison pie, creamy mash, broccoli & gravy 😋 DH then filled up any gaps by having a Tunnocks Teacake & raspberry sundae - I had a couple of spoonfuls just to taste test 😉 - it was scrumptious 🤤 We were back in our room by 21:20 & one bag packed. DH has been listening to podcasts & I have been catching up with the cheerleading 🤞
Lovely post Floss 😊 It might be slow decluttering from your point of view, but it is still decluttering 👏 Shame about the cash decluttering but you will soon have a beautifully landscaped garden 😊
What lovely childhood memories Soontobeoap 😊 Thank you for sharing them with us 👏 Well done to your inventive dad 👏😊
Florafauna, yippee to a moving date 🥳 but yah boo to having to camp in your house for another 2 weeks + 😕
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 Good luck with your planning 🍀 The thing is that I know the extra planning time for sorting out your clothes is time well spent - once you start you will power through 🤩
Pennypincin, now now - it doesn’t sound like you have lost the plot at all ‘wagging finger emoji’ It is what I would call judicious spending on items that were (mostly) needed 😊 Good luck with the weekend plans re gardening & tidying indoors 🍀
Lovely post vulpix 😊 What a busy day on Thursday 👏 I hope that MrV is a good patient & is obeying doctors orders🙏 It sounds like now is the time to start working on DD1 so that she stays in the Shetland Islands 😉 What a wonderful photo 🤩 DH has a similar one taken at 22:39 on Friday night 😉
Thanks weenancy 😊 So far all we are missing is a sighting of a red squirrel 🐿️ & a live stag 🦌 We have seen dozens of signs for both 😉 I see that you have been busy again - ferrying your roommates around & also getting ready for the book sale 👏 Very pleased to hear that it was a dead tree rat 😅 The last thing you need is another cat - however pretty it is 😔 If Di found it then she should be entirely responsible for it - although I appreciate that this is pie in the sky thinking 😂 As is thinking that she will organise a plumber to fix the problem in the bathroom 😔 Good luck for the book sale 🍀
Lovely chatty post Liverpool_Anne 😊 I am really enjoying the childhood reminiscences - so kind of you to share them 😊
Florafauna, great work with the packing 👏 Very pleased to hear that your replacement has been hired already & that it won’t be a last minute panic 😮💨 A 4.00 a.m. solstice swim sounds freezing 🥶 although it sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed yourself 😊
Gers, some very useful information 👏
Excellent decluttering butterfly2507 👏 Royal Mail are a law unto themselves 😉 but as you say at least you got some steps in 🥳
GrannyKate, absolutely everything crossed that the son likes your house as much as she does 🤞 As to the estate agent not letting you see an empty house - just sheer laziness on their part 😠 By the way, nothing wrong with buying holiday clothes 😊 just don’t forget the sun protection 🙏
butterfly2507, shame about the make up pouch but well done on decluttering it immediately 👏
Lovely chatty post vulpix 😊 I thought I recognised the picture 🙂 I am still missing Jimmy Perez 😢 So pleased to hear that MrV is on the mend & brought you breakfast in bed 🥳 Such a relief 😮💨
GrannyKate, no surprise that your sacked estate agent is putting some effort in 😔 Just a shame that they weren’t that diligent when you signed up 😠
Well said Floss 👏
GrannyKate, how bizarre that you are not being allowed a 2nd viewing of empty houses especially as they have been on the market so long 🤨
Florenceem, I hope you find out who the milk thief is 🤞 How unreasonable of the planning dept not to accept a face to face meeting 😔 Good luck with the email/phone contact 🍀 Your mention of a Whippy ice cream has me craving one now 😂 Sorry to hear that MrF is still losing weight 😔 Hopefully the doctor will make a proper diagnosis & will have some recommendations of how to stop MrF losing any more weight 🙏
I have caught up 2 pages of cheerleading so am reasonably happy 😉 I will sign off now & wish everyone a pleasant Sunday after a good night’s sleep 😊 + there are plenty of cwtches available 🤗

@daisy_1571 thank you , I didn't mean to sound so down. I've opened an email I was avoiding and not as worrying and drafted start of a response and sent another frog .
Large pink shawl things in cs bag and tidied scarf and underwear drawer and less full. Some more ood food out 940 and item posted to dd215 -
Florafauna, I worked at a school, I left 10 years ago and still miss it and often dream about it. Fingers crossed for the move, there always seems to be something, that comes right in the end.
Cake kudos to you Queen Jess, it's a thing of beauty.
I'm enjoying your holiday along with you Mrs SD.
In the donation bag, an evening dress, a lightweight cag jacket. a flapper type dress, no body wants to see my swollen arthritic knees. 2 tops, one new with tags. a coatigan, a pair of pumps, a pair of flip flops worn once. Unworn leggings. Two handbags. This feels like a lot for me as clothes, shoes, bags and jewellery are my Achilles heel.
I will confess to 5 pairs of white linen trousers in various sizes, the middle aged ladies summer trouser of choice. I have 8 summer tops that I will be wearing now we have some better weather at last. It is possible that I will be wearing some white linen trousers soon. That's how we will know that summer has arrived.

good morning everyone!
hugs to those who need them!
as i said yesterday i thought i could sell the webcam and mic on vinted - turns out you're not allowed to sell electronics on there. i thought about facebook market place but ugh ... don't want to so they're being donated
(12) eyeshadow: it's a single shadow in a glass jar (like gel liners & took up a lot of space) and i'm proud to say i used it up completely! i worked on it for a long time but the color was gorgeous so i didn't mind. wouldn't repurchase it though
(13) hair oil: used it up as well. didn't last me as long as i thought since my scalp and hair are very dry at the moment. i think it might be the shampoo i'm using so i'm switching to another one.
(14) pics deleted from phone: posted one on instagram, the rest was deleted cause i didn't need them. i also need to make space for our vacation coming up so sorry to all my friends on instagram being flooded with them haha
i might take a few minutes today to really focus on different areas of the house. or edit some more pics and get them posted, we'll seehave a lovely sunday everyone

Quiet here after a long spell of childcare - a bit bored this weekend. Hopefully dishwasher is getting repaired tomorrow. DS2 made delicious individual chicken and leek pies for dinner yesterday. I forgot to take a picture. Spent an hour sorting and putting clothes away and ended up a sweaty mess - it is so humid this morning. Trying not to stress about no place to move to yet.
674 Committee decluttered and papers recycled
675 Another viewing booked on my house
676-689 Bundle of items for 7-8 age boy to go. DS2 will try and sell (he sold £6 bundle for DGD4 last week and money in her savings) If no luck they will go to CS.
690 Pair of shorts in the bin as they are ragged and keep falling down.
Trying to avoid going out as I buy things I don't need - I do have paperwork to sort before I go away. DD collected DGS1 from his uni halls yesterday with double the amount of stuff he took with him. After listening to three teenage boys having a protracted discussion about who might own the colander (they all denied it was theirs) she took the executive decision to 'foster' the colander for the summer at hers. I'd like to do some weeding but it is too hot already. I got suitcase down and started putting things in it for the holiday.2025 Decluttering Campaign 682/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

I had an unfortunate incident at about the age of 14 when I had got a radical restyle haircut and decided to glam up for school wearing white trousers (likely polyester ones my mom had made), a white top and a baby blue fitted cord jacket. I really looked quite wonderful if I do say so myself and got a lot of compliments. And then I suddenly got my period. Fortunately I had a pair of jeans in my locker that I could change in to. Never again. I even get nervous if I wear any of my paler summer trousers - beige cargo capris, pale purple or soft green - as much as I love them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Brie, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! perhaps I should say they are the post menopausal ladies summer trouser of choice. We have been to the garden centre for coffee and cake and I spotted 2 ladies with white trousers. I wore an ankle length hippy skirt and one of my collection of white tops. I do like the sound of your baby blue fitted cord jacket Brie. I tell you what I miss from my youth, cheese cloth. It's high time it made a come back. I used to love me some bell bottomed trousers and a cheesecloth shirt.
I am just changing into gardening duds to get out there and work off a piece of flapjack. Mr V thinks he is treating me but in all honesty I do not have a sweet tooth. The flapjack was nice but I feel like it would be better lagging pipes.I don't think I will feel hungry for about a week.
I hope you are having enjoyable weather wherever you are.
