@weenancyinAmerica ,sorry to hear your having to use your rollator all the time. I think writing a list for the dr is really good. I did that with my dd1 a couple of times, once at a/e and once at gp. A/e we saw the loveliest gp and the best at our surgey who has now left. Both were good and explained which they thought were linked and whixh were linked to tests they were doing. Think she was around late teens/20.
Her current uni gp is.not as good and I mau suggest she does this again.
Apologies , it was dd2 who didn't help and has gone on holiday. I have told her that her bedroom and study ( airing room) need to be sorted by the end of June. This is before I go to Birmingham to move her and friends stuff from uni hall to rented house in July.
One item in cs bag from.the other day , hope to take next weekend. Will keep doing like with like as over time makes a difference.
Hope everyone has the best Sunday they can can, and some relaxation x16 -
Hi folks, that reminds me London 1 is very quiet, she must have moved, fingers crossed.
How cute to see fox cubs Mrs SD. You would think living in the sticks we would see them all the time, never in my life have I seen a wild fox. Well except for one strutting down the middle of the road in Nottingham. I did see sewing bee the other day, some of the tablecloth tops were lovely. I admit it did cross my mind to make something with them but then I had a word with myself. I gave away the embroidered cloths last year. These ones are the white Irish linen type with a pattern in the weave. I did take mine to our Christmas in the air b n b but I don't need it really.
I am having a tidy up day today. Mr V is almost fully trained with don't put it down put it away. DD2 is brazenly messy and dirty! I like the house to be calm and tidy. Being a very small house it doesn't take much stuff lying about to look cluttered.
I am off to read in the bath, one of my favourite things ever!

Afternoon all.
Blinking body clock went off at 6.20am - not impressed! Decided to get up and get breakfast, saw to Mac's breakfast too.
Had a lazy morning, eventually DMum went out in the garden to plant her rose bush she bought yesterday; so I whizzed round with the hoover, stuck the WM on (just 1 load needed doing today) tidied up (aka put all my wool away), hung up washing when the machine finished. Got Mac's run back up in our conservatory and I popped him in it before I made my lunch.
Got to find the energy to declutter his litter tray!
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - to answer the question it'd probably more accurate to say that I'm partially ambidextrous.
I can saw left handed (found that out in the carpentry technical course I took as part of my degree), can use a mouse with my left hand ,can type one handed, (on phone and keyboard). Probably other stuff too but can't think rn.
My Dad was a leftie and partially ambidextrous too so.im guessing that's where it comes from? He played cricket and could bat and bowl with both hands. Won quite a lot of wickets catching the other team out 🤣🤣12 -

As I was up & dressed before noon, I will say good morning & also good afternoon 😉 Sunday is a cloudy, bright day with the sun trying very hard to put in an appearance. Maximum temperature is set to be 18C. I have seen four starlings who were kindly eating up the fat balls 😊 A big difference from when we moved in 25 years ago when we used to have up to 3 dozen at a time. I have my first cuppa & have settled down to the cheerleading - so here goes 😊
QueenJess, no need to apologise for not having time to read the thread 😉 I am just grateful that you are still posting 😊 Sorry to hear that work is still so stressful, although I am hoping that after the long chat with your boss new systems are starting to be put in place 🤞 More excellent decluttering 👏 & I hope that you are very proud of yourself for the stupendous amount of work you have done in decluttering the loft 🥹 I am sending a quick ‘kick up the backside’ to your DH that he makes a quick decision re the empty boxes & that at least half can go 😊 as I can see that you are galloping towards your 12,000 target & it would be a great aid to getting there sooner 😊
Lovely post Brie 😊 Sorry to hear that OH was having a bad day yesterday 😔 & I hope that he is having a better day today 🙏 Many cwtches coming your way 🤗 & may I have permission to send a couple to your OH?
Florenceem, a busy day yesterday. How lovely to see your family 😊 with the bonus of more items decluttered 😉 Now that is what I call true love 🥰 - I am afraid that I have a ‘thing’ about feet 😰
QueenJess, wow you were busy yesterday 🤩 Thank you for stocking up the TLC Carriage with baked goodies 👏 I must confess to trying out the clafoutis with some ice cream 😉 It was delicious 😋 I was very proud of myself as I only had one slice 🥹 I will pop back later but have a feeling that I may have missed my chance to have a 2nd slice 😉 A stupendous amount of decluttering QueenJess - not sure there is an emoji that can fully express how much work & how successful you have been with your decluttering 🧐 Instead I have decided to concentrate on the section of your post where you appreciate & acknowledge just how much you have done (“I should say that my house is looking a fair bit tidier than usual after my daily decluttering and tidying…………I've decluttered 54,275 things (both physical and digital). It definitely makes a difference and I'm finding there's less and less need to "organise" anything as it fits in. I don't have anything in the garage anymore and all my plant related stuff for the house fits in a tiny wood box under the sink. The loft is 2/3 empty, I use less than half the wardobe space, I have a few completely empty drawers (one in the bedroom and another in the library) and I'm close to fitting all my bathroom stuff into half the bathroom drawer.”) In order to reward you for finally recognising just how well you have done & are doing the only suitable emoji is this one 👑 You are now QueenJess, first of her name, Queen of the Digital & Physical Decluttering Kingdoms & Queen of Modesty in your Achievements. No prizes for guessing what I am watching at the moment 🤣 I do admire how aware you are of your own decluttering style/method, knowing exactly what works for you but also being able to challenge yourself on a daily basis 🤩 You might think you are wittering but I disagree - your posts are always helpful & thought provoking 😊 Thank you for sharing 👏 Yep, you said it “…… incapable of sitting still and I went through loads of photos whilst I was supposedly resting. I really am stopping for today!”
Excellent work TC77 👏 Keep up the good work 😊
machasraven, we might have to hire you for a few days to teach our chefs aboard the EDT - they do seem to have a lot of trouble making soufflés 😉 I am very, very pleased to hear that you are taking it easy & giving yourself permission for some TLC ☺️
crazybunnylady4, don’t you just love it when a purchase does exactly what it says it will do 🥳 However, even though you now have the wrist rest & mouse rest please try not to overdo it with the emails 🙏 Excellent decluttering of tasks 👏 & I hope you find some time in between work & tasks to give yourself some TLC. There are some lovely home baked goodies in the TLC Carriage 😉😉
Well I have caught up a little despite allowing myself to be distracted first by the starlings - 14 turned up 😉 & then by a conversation with the chap next door - he was loading up his car with a mountain of cardboard boxes for a Tip run. I will post this & then do a bit of knitting before coming back.
Weather is still dry & cloudy. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday 😊 Sending cwtches to all who need them or want them 🤗

DSis is a leftie in a family of righties. She does random things right handed, I do random things left handed….the most noticeable is when I open or close jars/bottles. Apparently I do that in a left handed manner!Mum’s dad was ambi and the leftie gene is prevalent in Dad’s side of the family. Surprisingly Dad’s dad’s left handedness wasn’t ‘corrected’ even though he was born 1903. Looks like rural Westmorland was more focussed on the 3 R’s and not which hand you wrote with!I just inherited the ability to wiggle my ears!✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

crazybunnylady4 - I have a wrist mouse pad. Stops pain in my arm.
Chocolate talk was good last night - we had to say which chocolate we preferred out of the samples - I chose dairy milk. £500 + was raised for humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
I had a long chat this afternoon with my Doctor daughter about Mr F.
Only one service today. I sorted donations before I left Church.

I am pleased that you have talked to your daughter Florenceem. I hope she can join the dots with Mr F's symptoms.
Floriana, you made me think. I have never thought about it but realise I open jars with my left hand. I used to love doing mirror writing as a girl, my party piece. Ultimate party piece was mirror writing with hands and feet.
I have made a booboo, bought another stone bench for the top garden. Unloading it Mr V dropped it on his toe, almost certainly breaking his toe and splitting the nail. It continues to bleed. I have wrapped it up and he has gone to work. No more purchases for a long time now,not till he's better anyway.
I have a plan and most of the materials for the new garden, just need the weather now. It has rained all day here again. I remember someone mentioning poor veg in the shops. It's the very long wet Spring that has affected veg farmers. I do hope we get a bit of summer soon.
Off to get my sewing machine out and finish off some tote bags.

Your post from 1 June 2024 was one of the first I have read, I felt very encouraged and I was about to reply (re: overwhelmed)..and just a week later (see your post above) what a big difference you have made! Well done ! Regarding your books, once you have more mind and home space, who knows you may get time to enjoy more things. I will aim to do some decluttering and treat myself to reading some of these motivating posts.Ooh I'm blushing 😳. I will wear my crown with prideI'm glad if my wittering does help some people. I have watched lots of decluttering videos, but they are usually about starting or maintenance and there is a big gap right in the middle where I am now.
You'll be glad to hear I did have a day off today, although some decluttering did happen when I did a bit of a clear up this evening and came across various things. I'm obviously making DH feel uncomfortable now as he asked "Should I get rid of some things then?" earlier. He's really busy at work right now, but will remind him about the loft boxes in a few weeks when he'll be lazing around with lots of time off. Hopefully he'll then get round to some general decluttering including the stuffed garage which now has absolutely nothing of mine in it (bar the mower, although it needs to stay there and I don't mow the lawn anyway!).Physical:

Afternoon Peeps,
I have been ducking in and out of reading and catching up on here. Well the 06/06/24 was my final day of employment. I have resigned due to work related stress toxic.
It took 4 days to get a response to my email.... Difficult to prove ageism and my immediate line management failing to follow protocol. I'm just done with it. It has now given me anxiety (physically broken) and wow is it not a good feeling. Been a fighter all through the 33years I have put in. It just isn't what I signed up for all those years ago. Waiting for my P45 and any communication confirming I'm now unemployedI am not bitter, just done. 12months to State Pension god willing. I have saved for the short fall in monies so we can do this.
Got some frogs to start 1 is carers allowance for DH and me to update DWP.
Decluttering has been finally and totally completed at parents house. DSis2 is cleaning it next week as it has been sold and ready for completion before the 21st June.
Our decluttering here however is a different ball game at this time. I have stuff here that is only supposed to be visiting. I really now need to get a wobble on and get it moved on.
We have work starting on the 8th July getting a new roof, new front window that's being down sized a bit and making amendments to the house after spending money on plans and planning permission for an extension we have decided we don't need a bigger house for 2 of us we just need to downsize our stuff and update what we have. (could have done the bathroom with that money!! )
Just listening on a streaming thingy on't tinternet Northern Soul TV that's upped my Sunday nightso I'm just chair dancing for now. It starts at 1900hrs for 2 hours and also on a Wednesday.
Have tidied out some paperwork. Loads of empty ornament boxes from parents into the recycling bin. Dropped of a large bag to CS. Large bag of plastic to Morries.
We have purchased a campervan (not a posh motorhome)to go with Son & GD when she goes motocross racing so some items have left the house and are designated to there.
Managed to get my car repaired cost effectively after colliding with a wild deer on the motorway the other week at 65mph eek! The deer definitely lost. My car was minimal damage but if I had gone through the insurance it would have definitely been written off. I was OK considering, it really was in front of my bonnet before I even saw it - already too late. No time for any reaction of trying to miss/avoid it fortunately.
I am covering my parents "supervision" 5 days a week as the other sister who covers during the week is in long term recovery from planned surgery. Of course she is going to milk it.....
The paper shredding is going to have to wait another week the paper/cardboard bin is full.
Phew! think I've bored you all enough with my RL at this time.
Hugs for those in need having RL sh*te going on.
Lets get on the TLC and feet up with a good whatever takes your fancy.
Take care

@2Scratters - oh my, between your job ending and having the run-in with the deer, it sounds like you are having a difficult time. Take all the hugs you need. You will probably find you are having less stress without the job, even if the finances are somewhat short.
Didn't make it to the grocery store today - will have to go tomorrow. Today Di and I ended up at the vet with her cat. Several hundred dollars later, we made it home with the cat who has temporarily taken up residence on my pillow. The appointment took almost four hours as there were a lot of dog owners waiting and only a couple of cats even before they opened. Long enough for me to read most of another book which I finished when we got home. At least I had been able to pay the credit card bill before we went - but it is now almost up to where it was. So I will have to try paying it off again next month. Oh well, it is just money. And cat is doing better after all of the shots he received. We also have the very expensive flea medication for the next 6 months.
I suggested we try chicken creamed over biscuits tonight to G and he made it for us. Was great. I didn't have to feed myself tonight.
