3 pairs of jeans put into the cs bag and 3 pairs of size 18 jeans in the wardrobe after a quick wash.
I've even had another go at decluttering some more weeds from the lawn plus using the matok to make a start on widening the flowerbeds.
Edit to add that the 2 folding chairs lent to me have now just gone.Decluttering campaign 2023

So I have yet to pack a bag & I still haven’t finished knitting the scarf. It stayed dry & sunny all day so DH watered the plants whilst I prepped dinner. We had bacon & pea linguine in a creamy sauce - again. DSis loves it & there is enough lo for her dinner tomorrow 😊 Wudupa
809 - 810 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
811 - 814 Kitchen & lr detritus + 2 black bags from next door (I am counting because they are now in our bin 😂) - binned
Excellent packing London_1 👏 A very productive day 🥳 & how kind of your neighbour to list items for you ☺️ What a lovely gesture from your gardener ☺️ I hope you are lucky enough to find a good gardener on the IoW 🤞& so kind of him to donate a lawn mower to your ln 🥳 I was nowhere near as productive as you but I was pleased to get a couple of things done especially repairing DH’ motorcycle trousers as that task had been waiting several months 😅
mhagster, thank you for confirming the flower is a peony 😊 Excellent work packing up for your move 👏 Great news that you have a reason to unpack swiftly once you are in your new home 😊
Excellent decluttering Pennypincin 👏 & great work in he garden 😊
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏
Off to pack now & lay out my riding gear. Sleep tight 😴

Hi all, been a busy day but not much decluttering unfortunately. Union thing done, typed up and emailed off. Took several hours. Both of the others that landed have been progressed. 4 loads through the machine but 2 are still on the line as they were not quite dry but they will be dry tomorrow if the forecasts are correct
and 2 LDFPA. Season tickets for me and dnephew have been renewed so lots of money decluttered
, but I save for them throughout the year
. A banking thing was sorted as a follow up from my meeting a couple of weeks ago that was in danger of becoming a frog. 1 pot sorted for ln, another to do tomorrow but we ran out of time and all the baskets and pots watered. I also sorted out her hose as her sil had messed about with it when he was jet washing her patio and it was leaking by the tap. She will probably be able to use it herself soon though I had to tell her off as she was hanging out washed bed linen when I spotted her so I did that, her dd had changed the bed for her
. She is having her flat roof repaired next week so I have a feeling all the baskets and pots will have to be moved to the other end of the garden but I will talk to her about that tomorrow
. I sorted out the spices for the veg curry for OH but there is currently a pan soaking as the cauli got burnt. I have no idea why it was in a separate pan, not the way I would have made it but it does explain why the kitchen is always destroyed after OH cooks. I just bung everything in 1 pan
.
The moth traps I deployed are a spectacular failure, not a single moth on any of them but OH and I have murdered a few
@Vulpix I like the idea of a sudden green door, I am currently singing " there's an old piano and they play it hot behind the green door"
@weenancyinamerica I have been thinking about our virtual clothes for the orient express, apart from the dragon robe I have so far only settled on a few hats but I suppose I will have to think of a few more
@Mrs SD, defo a peony though I don't have Vulpix's knowledge of variety. Not something I have ever grown :smiley. Well done on the repair, sounds very tricky.
@QueenJess I have a lava lamp and I love it, it is very relaxing to watch, although it is currently on my list of things to sort as it needs a new bulb fitting
. You are going great guns
. Have you thought about what you will do with all your time when you get to maintenance mode, whuch will probably be next month at the rate you are going
@London_1 you are a marvel
Sorry I have suddenly felt very tired so I will post this before I fall asleep and lose it all. Hugs to everyone who would like one
750 union things
751 & 752 LDFPA
753 season tickets renewed
754 banking thing
755 ln's pot and watering and sorting hose
Take care everyone

Morning, gorgeous morning here with sunshine and blue skies, shame I'm in the office today. Holiday wardrobe sorted after an supermarket sweep style shop of matalan. Just need to get it packed in the cases tonight and hope for the best. We fly in 2 days and got 2 full days in work before then. Somehow it will all get done.
Decluttering wise we did a carboot at the weekend and got rid of loads and made £70. Will do another one after holidays. Bonus was gorgeous sunshine and lovely views across the Bristol Channel to Somerset coast.11 -
@mhagster and @London_1 in awe of you both, and others managing the moving and decluttering process .
Agent rang me to say may have house meeting my requirements ( think may be too expensive) but the thought that I may have to actual get to the stage where I could move is abit of a wake up call. Been in my house for 30 years and still to have things from.my dad's brought round13 -
Bon Voyage Mr and Mrs SD.
Almost D day London 1 and Mhagster. New adventures await.
A bag of stuff for the chazzer. an unused microwave container thingy, a new in pack toilet roll holder and the M n S top which is sadly too big. Also some stuff of Mum's.
Ratgate rumbles on. DS managed to send the bathroom rat out of the back door, watched by the cat. DIL is currently looking at new kitchens. They still have ratty noises in the ceiling. A different rat man visited today.
For the Spanish dog charity sale, 6 baby jasmine plants, a foldable garden table, hanging basket bracket, other garden bits,. I only managed to finish 2 tote bags because I was talking kitchens with DIL. I am going to keep the bird box but it needs new hinges before putting it up.
I have had enough machine sewing for a bit, I will put the unfinished bags away fro a little while. I prefer hand sewing. I will start some knitting for a change.
In, a new to me book.
The people who are having Mum's beautiful piece of oak furniture have just messaged. They are back from Portugal and will come and collect it tomorrow. Yes!

GREEN door. Should I tone it down, yeah or nay?

DD didn't collect my makes as she had an online meeting then raced home for a governor's one. I hope she will collect this afternoon - I will leave them in the porch as I don't think we will be back from the hospital.
I left Mr F on the toilet when I went to bed - he was suffering the effects of the colonoscopy preparation.
I set alarm at 5.45 as he had to take second lot of prep mix at 6. I had to strip the bed - washing put through twice - hope I can rescue my vintage sheet.
This mishap didn't happen when he did October prep. I used up all my baking soda on the mattress.
Popped to SA - got some plastic sheets and other incontinence bits - save me running around shops - I will pay of course. I bought some more baking soda to cope with odour.
My friend told me to stand on the mattress and bounce - no way - I did kneel and bounce.
It is a king size top quality mattress that appears to be ruined.
I have researched cost of a replacement mattress - £1,200 with 2 waterproof covers.
I got soaked when I popped to Saver. for the baking soda.
Will need to allow an hour to arrive at hospital as lots of road works.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
