Hello all, sorry to have been awol but life has been a bit hectic and not a lot of extra decluttering has been accomplished. I had the all clear from the oncologist on Monday and I am now cancer free, Yipee ! Today I had my scan for preventative radiotherapy in Cardiff and I start my course on June 10th. Can't wait for the whole nightmare to be over and I can start living again, it's been the worst 6 months. Sadly DH is still living with C but coping well. Hugs to anyone or their family with this awful disease.
Can I come on the Orient express too ? I need a break and I have been really brave 🤣. We have however booked a hotel break starting Friday and I'm looking forward to being waited on. ( Won't be a patch on the service in the TLC carriage though, that's the best )
Florenceem hope MrF is getting over the colonoscopy. My late DM had the same proceedure and said it was awfully painful to have some polyps removed. Gentle hugs for you both.
Vulpix I hope Mr V gets sorted soon and has a good outcome.
Florianatwobob love that dress.
MrsSD enjoy your trip, Devon is our favourite place to be, although Cornwall comes a close second.
Hugs to all

Nannywindow that's brilliant news. Treat yourself to something memorable to celebrate.
All I have been decluttering the last 2 days is tissues as I have the most horrible fluish cold. So glad I had today off and also tomorrow morning. Last night I was in bed so early reading and watching Endeavour on the laptop. I didn't get up until 9 this morning totally unheard of for me.
For the Orient Express trip I have a glittery red slapper dress with fringe and also the most wonderful shoes VIVA Womens Mid Block Heel Lace Up Evening Work Mary Jane Ankle Boot Shoes, 5 UK, Black White : Amazon.co.uk: Everything Else. So are we having the full breakfast to evening buffet along side the wonderful sit down meals? ooo I can't wait.“HUMAN BEINGS MAKE LIFE SO INTERESTING. @nannywindow fab news. Definitely do something nice for yourselfSome more bits and pieces found. I keep randomly opening drawers and cupboards to find things and it is getting hard despite lots of things still to go. But when it's a higher percentage to keep than to go it is harder to seek out. I don't fancy and don't have time to empty everything out to declutter that way.1 - pen used up (bin)
1 - floor lamp (Buy Nothing)
1 - pack of light bulbs (Buy Nothing)
1 - gift bag used
3 - paper reused, then recycled

The very best news nanny, enjoy your break. xxx
Ruby, exciting times ahead.
Have a lovely holiday Fizz.
It has rained here very heavily all day without a break.
We went to Mum's at 8 pm to get the sofa and chair out for the council collection. i asked a neighbour to help. If it was just us two, we would still be there now. Gosh the sofa and chair were so heavy. hoovered for the last time and locked the door for the last time ever on my childhood home. No sadness just relief. The hoohaa of selling the house has already begun. I can see a lot of trips back and forth between Mum and Estate agent which is in another town in my future.
Mr V has sold a big electrical thing. Being collected tomorrow. £150, Thank you.I have to take some paperwork to the Estate Agent and phone the solicitor. Almost there with it all.
