Sorry to hear that things have been tough for people.
Sending hugs to all.
The orient express sounds great.
I wish I was work ready already and could afford to save for holidays.
One day though. There's so many places I'd like to go to and so much id like to see.
I wouldn't mind the opportunity to go to china again, especially with the Tai chi group. I missed out when I was at work as management refused and I wish I'd stood my ground and spoke to the area manager.
If I haven't already updated, the microwave and slow cooker have gone, plus a small assortment of bits rehomed today.
I'm hoping to do housework tomorrow plus have a go at tidying up and see what else I can declutter.
I'm bound to bring in a few bits as I will need to get some smaller size jeans. Plus will need some lighter trousers for tai chi now that the weather is warming up.
I can then cs the old jeans then.Decluttering campaign 2023

oh no I have the robe not silk but satin with a dragon on the back. It is my summer dressing gown.“HUMAN BEINGS MAKE LIFE SO INTERESTING. DO YOU KNOW, THAT IN A UNIVERSE SO FULL OF WONDERS, THEY HAVE MANAGED TO INVENT BOREDOM. (Death)” - Sir Terry Pratchett12

Floss you be Margaret Rutherford, tossing your cape collars over your shoulders, and i'll be margaret dumont, fiddling with my elbow gloves and long pearls, and we can leave the young slim ones to run about the train, being sultry germans and slinking about wearing embroidered dressing gowns, whilst we solve any puzzles from the comfort of the dining car or observation car. I'm sure there will be entertainment, possibly in the form of a murder mystery (but with everyone alive and taking a bow at the end).
if we could get a miss Marple and a poirot lookeylikeys, we could pick their brains too

I'm too knackered after a day out with the kids, although I did declutter some things whilst I was clearing up. Definitely much, much more to come during the week and I also need to send back some clothes that don't fit/aren't perfect tomorrow (the hunt continues). Why is it so hard to find decent clothes? With everything being online more and more makes it even harder as you can't try things on.Anyway, a few more bits to add and even though I'm knackered, I have been watching some more minimalism videos to keep me on track whilst I am in a serious purging mood.1 - bag I don’t use - fantasy self (charity box)
11 - DD clothes grown out of (charity box)New total = 9,461May mini kitchen declutter challenge = 25/25May/June mini clothes declutter challenge = 135/200My biggest issue at the moment is that I stripped the whole loft of lots of boxes, but I am about to run out of boxes and bags to donate things in to charity! The thing that is really working for me at the moment, is to question whether I really have used an item or not. If I haven't used it, then I probably won't ever use it. However, I've also been questioning all kinds of "normal" items and asking whether I actually need it or not. For example, I was given some body butter as a gift that I've been using (and I have used body moisturiser for years), but I know that I don't have dry skin (except on my hands) and so it really is entirely pointless. When I don't use it, my skin is exactly the same. So when I use it up, I won't repurchase. I'll try and keep asking myself that question for anything I repurchase before I buy something or if I have an alternative already that I could use.It really is the "just in case" or fantasy self items that get me. Sometimes I think I could keep it as it doesn't take up much space/is in the loft and it might come in useful. But the reality is that I never do use these items, if I did I could get something for very little money and when you multiply all these items out throughout the house it creates a huge amount of extra stuff that I cannot manage with a full on job. I heard the fantasy self stuff on videos, but didn't think it applied to me... it totally does. I definitely had some make up in that category, but the reality is that I don't wear it and don't really care for it anyway. I have a couple of items I use occasionally and that is it. The bag I got rid of as well is for a fantasy life I don't have. I have two young kids and need to carry around water bottles and snacks etc that the bag is not practical for (hence never used). I have a practical backpack that works great and gets lots of use.2025 decluttering: 3,324🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Margaret Rutherford 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am not the beanpole shape required for 20’s style either. Remember thoroughly modern Millie and her beads?
so, the back door is a bit sudden. Anfield pitch green. Hmmmmm. I t wasn’t my choice but sometimes I think Mr V should have a voice. 🥰I tidied the cupboard with diy and cleaning stuff. Lots consolidated and an inch of duck egg paint used up by painting a little wooden stool from the shed. Stuff including the stool listed on thrift. Being collected tomorrow.Full car boot of stuff taken to the tip. Lots of stuff not in the picture. Mr V is on a mission. He says he will do the studio tomorrow. I am so pleased.
Done a bit of work on the tote bags. DS has been on the phone a lot today. Ratgate rumbles on.Take care people.Vx:14
