Bag number 4 filled. If (and it is a BIG if!) I could get rid of 366 bags of this size then blimey, my life would be so much easier!

Oh my gosh... DH has just put the huge mirror up in the hallway.  I am not kidding when I say we've had it 5 years (it's been living under the sofa).  I might need a lie down now lol

@Dfw38 366 bags that size would be a huge amount of stuff!  Maybe you should measure the volume and convert it into something useless a la Taskmaster style.  Number of humans, number of cars, percentage of an olympic swimming pool

It is indeed Wednesday2000 , a new episode to look forward to tonight. I did enjoy the Tom Cruise films but the TV series is more fun to watch

Sorry to chip in but Tom Cruise is so wrong for Reacher  the actor on the TV series matches the books more.  When reading i always think that he is build like a brick **** house  speaking of his books i think i have some upstairs which need to be moved to the charity bag

Some items I take out as I do crafting. Different types depending on my mood. But yes a lot could go. I keep my ironing board in there as well. Maybe that could go

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January

2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m 

3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis

4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc

5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter

6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed

DH got back about 15:30 & I had packed everything away by 15:45 including getting rid of all the plastic packaging 🙂

bit_by_bit, I think you might be right - “2024 the year of the BIG Clearout” 🥳 Sorry to hear that “le flu” has knocked you sideways 😔 but pleased that you are now recovering albeit more slowly than you would wish 😔 A good start to 2024 especially the making Financial Plans for both you & DS1 👏

London_1, it is a shameful situation that so many people are struggling & only charitable organisations seem to be doing anything 😔 Sadly local government is constrained by National government but still not an excuse 😔 & I am off my soapbox 😉

EnergyShifter, well done on reminding yourself that you are supposed to be resting & can stay in the TLC Carriage for as long as needed 👏 I am not as brave as you - sometimes only a bit of chocolate will do 😉 

Time to stop & start sorting out dinner. Sitting at the table to cheerlead is definitely working for me 😮‍💨

Not our problem to deal with cardboard.  The only thing we need to get rid of is the fridge and freezer which will cost about £55 for the council to remove.  And a potential recycle - someone at work asked if any of the base units were whole and good enough could she have them for her green house.  Frankly I don't think they'll be removed that carefully but I said I would ask.
