1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks + a weekly Jettison Junk in January
2. Sort out sleep patterns - target bed by 2:00 a.m. & up by 9:00 a.m
3. Deal with mail & email on a daily basis
4. Don’t put it down, put it away + deal with mini tasks as soon as they are noticed e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
5. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ using the acronym - I.R.I.S. (Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off) - One per quarter
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Thursday is a lovely bright & sunny day but so chilly - only 11C rising to 14C about 16:00. I was up & dressed by 11:20 as this afternoon I have an appointment with the hygienist followed by the dentist & DSis has a dentist appointment. DSis is having a bath & DH is in his office on the computer.
Moorviews, pleased to hear that your investigative procedure went well 😮💨 Sounds like you are very busy so I hope you are finding time to visit the TLC Carriage 🙏
London_1, you might just have time for one more visit from your hairdresser if the move occurs in early June 😉 Sounds like you are looking at everything with new eyes as you are definitely on a roll with your decluttering 👏
wishus, that is great news 👏 Yippee to wandering scrap metal collectors 🥳
vulpix, such a lovely compliment 😊 Thank you so much ☺️

Thinking of nannywindow & bit_by_bit.

@wishus Good for you for getting it out of the bathroom! My parents had a cast iron bath that was in there before my father renovated the bathroom and changed the position of the door. They couldn't take it out in 1 piece; the handyman that came to help charged €80 for cutting it in 2, thinking it would be an easy job. It took him 2 full days! It got incredibly hot in the bathroom (no windows, just a chimney-vent) and he had to stop regularly, and then the 2 very heavy pieces had to be carried down the curved stairs....

I'm going to take the donation bag tomorrow. The charity shop man said they aren't taking books so I will have to drop it off at one of those free book boxes. I'm going to go through our wardrobes again! How many times have I done that? Lol.
It has turned into a lovely and sunny day after being so chilly this morning. My husband has been doing various DIY jobs around the house, which is very unusual for him! The weather is meant to be rainy tomorrow when we are supposed to be doing the decking so we might just leave it and say to the estate agent that we are planning on doing it when we have a few days of very dry weather.
I'm trying to eat through the fresh food we have left in the fridge as we are eating out on Saturday day and maybe the night too.2025 GOALS

Thanks to salad dodger(and plumduff) for the pattern. The hats look lovely. So clever that you were able to adapt a hat pattern into a neckwarmer.

Went to bed early last night as so tired.
I got a trolley of stuff ready this morning and Mr F took it to the charity shop on his way to the Dr's surgery.
I had a relaxing day - did some crafting.
I only went out to lock up at SA at 7.30.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Morning all - not much to report as very busy week. Covid jab for next week cancelled and rearranged for day I can't do so I'll have to sort that out. Got up early (5.30) and made temporary washing line round metal supports of fixed gazebo - not very elegant but will work.
489 Two more meetings decluttered and papers recycled. One involved a bacon butty and cake - all good.
490 All May cards purchased as I nipped into WHS in town whilst wasting time between meetings
Taking DGCs to school then I will nip to butchers. Nothing else on today but meeting tomorrow morning.2025 Decluttering Campaign 733/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Husband was given 3 chest freezers to send to Africa; he told me last night that he intends to fill them with our donations today at noon! So, this morning at 6 I was working through our RoD and before I left for work the hallway was full with stuff in boxes and bags that can go. This includes several weirdly shaped (a metal standing fan - deconstruced) or fragile (2 glass wall lights) items that will be ideal to ship in sturdy containers (the freezers).
