think I lost my post- had thought I'd posted.
Hope you had a lovely birthday JackieO
Mrs SD absolutely love the plant, the sort that lifts your spirit and makes you smile.
Was going to say nothing decluttered, then checked with DD1 that I can get rid of her filing cabinet. Swedish and never closed properly - I think we didn't put it together right and hopefully someone can so I can put on freesite, then big swedish office style drawers can go in her study and put the printer on it, and keeps away from my desk (rarely used) and I get rid of my filing cabinet like hers. DD2 has a stationery thing , inherited sadly so hundreds of pens, got rid of 5, sorted some unused card and paper and around 10 small bits and gunky deodorant out.
Several frogs done, checked last no recorded wass 209 and know there were some big nos after that so going to be generous and say 275, remembered 2 cables to give away, used up ood food, some filing and some paper clutter and unsubscribed and emails deleted (although never ending task).19 -
@QueenJess - Happy Birthday today. Hope you have a good one.16

DH phoned about 15:10 no sign of a doctor or movement to a ward. DSis was on her third nebuliser & had been given antibiotics. DH sounded exhausted. DH phoned again 18:15 as he was walking to the bus stop & was home by 19:00. DSis had instructed him not to go back & not to let me go. She texted about 21:30 - still in A&E but has had an egg sandwich & later chicken goujons, chips & beans for dinner. A senior A&E doctor finally persuaded her that she was way too ill to come home & that she would be having further tests tomorrow. She has a chest infection, bronchitis & COPD & even being on oxygen all day her sats were only 90% & even I know that isn’t good 😔 DH has had a bowl of soup & went to bed at 22:30. I have done precisely nothing all day apart from watch TV & nap.
I was going to do a little cheerleading but nodded off again. So I am off to bed.

Hi all, funny day today. OH went to the dentist for an extraction and returned with 3 stitches, antibiotics and painkillers and spent the rest of the day like a dead duck on the couch which is fair enough as last time I had a tooth out I went home and went to bed. So I have spent a lot of the day looking after OH but I did manage to empty the bathroom bin and bedroom recycling. I made a start on the carp on the top of the microwave but even though it's a small area I seem to have a lot of ponderables on there though I did bin another box of tea bags, christmas flavour which neither of us liked at all. I also sat down and went through a load of pens, 19 in the bin, 6 given to OH to use in the car and the rest now fit in a small tin except a couple placed where I know I will use them
@London_1 belated happy birthday, you sound as if you had a perfect day and good luck with the ea tomorrow
@QueenJess happy birthday for today, hope you spend it doing exactly what you like
@Mrs SD very scary situation and so glad to hear your dsis is being looked after. Hope she is back home soon. 💐 for you all, hugs
Tomorrow I have my eye test so off to bed now

Milkman paid & I headed to bed @ 03:30. I couldn’t actually get to sleep so am up again at 05:00 after lots of cuddles with DH. DSis had sent one more text to DH - although she is still in A&E her trolley has been changed to a bed 🙂 so hopefully she can get some sleep.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind wishes & support ☺️
Dizzycap, sorry to hear about the emergency hospital appointment 😔 I hope everything is OK 🤞Excellent work before the bad weather started 👏 Good luck with both the shed & the selling 🍀 Pleased to hear that you managed to get a refund for the rubbish office chair 🙂
weenancy, so pleased to hear that you are staying safe 😊 Mitt is very lucky to have you taking care of him 😊 Sounds like your father was a very sensible gentleman 😊
Liverpool_Anne, sorry to hear that you have been feeling rough 😔 Hope you felt better yesterday 🤞
TheEmerald, not only some excellent decluttering but well done on your persistence in getting a large frog dealt with 👏 “I am not sure how fast the TLC carriage normal travels but I am hanging onto the back bumper in my dodgy roller skates enjoying myself!” - loved this 😊 but please be careful 🙏
Moorviews, sorry to hear that you weren’t feeling well on Tuesday 😔 so well done on tackling paperwork decluttering 👏
London_1 sounds like you had a lovely birthday planned & I see from a later post that you thoroughly enjoyed your day 🎂🥳 🎉 Also lovely to hear about the planned family dinner on Sunday & congratulations to DGD Kate on her new job 😊🥳
~FlowerPot~ sorry to hear that you aren’t getting much sleep 😔 Hopefully you slept well last night 🤞
vulpix, no need to share your gold star as I am now sending MrV his own Gold Star ⭐️ Love the story about the olives 😍 Some excellent decluttering & repurposing 👏 Also very well done on gradually decluttering your craft stash - you are on a roll 😊
dND, not sure why the contract wasn’t delivered by special delivery 🤔 After all solicitors aren’t the cheapest people to employ 😔 Everything crossed that the rest of the house moving process goes smoothly & that you have the keys in your hand by midday Friday 🤞Very exciting now that it is so close 😊
Excellent decluttering Dizzycap 👏 Sounds like you are almost ready to hire yourself out as a Declutterer Extraordinaire 😊
~FlowerPot~, well DH did give 111 an hour to respond, so the taxi seemed the only sensible solution 🙂 Not sure if I mentioned but 111 called back EIGHT hours after DH’s call so a good job DH took DSis to A&E 😮💨 Very impressed that you did both Nasty jobs (which I thought you were going to defer for a while 😉) so am awarding you a medal 🏅
Excellent decluttering Mamaofmanybudgets 👏 Sounds like you are going for the Minimalist Look 😉
Great work dealing with the freezer & using up baking ingredients nannywindow 👏 I hope you dropped off a couple of small slices of banana cake to the TLC Carriage 😉 Sorry to hear that you are also having trouble sleeping 😔 Fingers crossed that last night’s lavender bubble bath & the massage worked & that you got a good night’s sleep last night 🤞
Brambling, thank you for your kind wishes 😊 I imagine she will be even less happy if the doctors keep her in for one or maybe two more nights.
Brie, very droll 😁 Once the accordion player has finished playing the polka, can I put in a request for some Italian dance music 🙏
Crazycatlady2, two busy days of decluttering & running errands 👏 Very impressed at the 10,000+ steps before lunchtime 👏 Hopefully your husband will sort through his treasures quickly 🤞 Seven fans 🤨 sounds like you had one very, very hot summer 😉 If they all work, maybe you could sell a few & if your husband doesn’t find his dartboard there will be some money in the kitty 😅 Hope you made a large batch of chilli as DH & I would like to pop round later 😂
I have caught up a couple of pages & finished my cocoa, so am going back to bed & hoping I can fall asleep straight away despite the sound of heavy rainfall🤞

So a snow day here so wfh. Planning on fully decluttering my sewing room also and moving some furniture downstairs to go to the tip.
Second estate agent came round and has given identical valuation. We have chosen our favoured one and will be putting the house on the market in March.
@mrssaladdodger I'm sorry to hear about your sister and hope she gets good care and treatment today18 -
Happy birthday Queen Jess 🎂 🎈 💐
Just taking a 2 second break from morning prep - eldest dd has been awake since 5.30 and has spent it crying on and off about going to school. I feel exhausted already 😔
Definitely an at home day - going to work on the kitchen with ds, he loves a rummage in a cupboard and is turning into a super helper.
I am sure we would all agree that, please don't feel you need to cheerlead if you have other things to focus on Mrs SD. Hope you managed some sleep 🤗

Morning All, no snow here but torrential rain instead. Decluttered a job application last night and submitted before the deadline. There are over 70 applications for the post so not holding out much hope but worth a shot. Work is exceptional busy at the moment and they are not recruiting to vacant posts due to budget constraints.
Next week is half term and we have booked a minibreak to West Wales, can't wait! Today is house tidying alongside knitting squares for a blanket, I am slowly decluttering the wool stash (I have a fair bit).16 -
Mrs sd so sorry to hear about your sister, glad she is getting some treatment and hopefully she will be a bit better today. Your dh did well hanging around for so long after she was admitted, I think that would have been my cue to leave the patient and come back home to my bed then maybe go back later at visiting hour. Time is interminable waiting around in a hospital i find. Please award him this from the Daisy household 🌟
Hugs also for other poorlies.
Hope the foot is found to be healing mr rif, weenancy hope your weather has calmed, hope ur daughter has a good day at school dfw
