@nannywindow, so sorry to hear your hospital news, and hope you're settled into the tlc carriage with the sweet trolley and attentive waiters bringing you copious supplies of whatever tipple you fancy x
The education system is so difficult, sorry to hear about the struggles so many are having getting the right support.16 -
I am going to drop off the donation bags tomorrow.
I did get caught down a rabbit hole on YT looking at Project 333 capsule wardrobes. I am tempted to try that again. It is when you choose 33 items of clothing from your closet for 3 months.
I did clean and clear out my fridge earlier. I had to throw away a half empty condiment jar.2025 GOALS

Thursday was a bright sunny day although it did feel rather chilly. Forgot to mention that DH sorted out the car insurance last night with DSis as the main driver & DH as a named driver. I have finished knitting another scarf - quite long & not very wide - now have 5 to drop off on my next CS visit.
Wrote a shopping list for DH who headed out at about 14:20. Whilst he was out I watched the last few episodes of Hope Street on iPlayer - of course they left it on a cliffhanger……… literally 😉 The friendship bracelets I made have been converted into a bookmark for cs & a small ball which I will cover & use as a pincushion 🙂
Put away the shopping & started dinner - cottage pie. Dinner was delicious & I had one portion left for freezer. Wudupa. Gorgeous sunset to night so I am hopeful of a lovely sunny Friday 🤞
193 - 194 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled
195 Kitchen detritus binned
I will catch up with the cheerleading tomorrow 😉 Sleep well everyone 🛌

Morning all
@nannywindow - so sorry to hear your news from hospital but sounds like you will be well looked after in the TLC carriage.
I managed to shred 2 notebooks worth of confidential notes yesterday and all paper has gone in the recycling inside empty cat food boxes. Some of the notes were from March 22 oops!
I'm in the office today so no decluttering will be done. I'd like to declutter a colleague who has called in sick again!!
Love Deni x

Hugs to @nannywindow and @Muddy_Walker. The TLC carriage sounds to be well stocked for the moment but I shall have a baking session in a few days.@QueenJess - hope all goes well with the party preparations and the birthday boy 🥳It was shopping day yesterday but I kept to my list and was so pleased with how easy it was to put everything away now that I have made space. I often have had a big bag of stuff that sits around because there isn’t any room for it. I put a large bag of clothing into the clothing bank while we were out. The soft plastics were recycled and also the council recycling collection has been done.17

Hi all, quick post as I have my eye test appointment this morning. I am showered but not dressed yet
. Yesterday was another slow day. I tackled the last bit of the worktop and although it is better it's not completely clear yet so not counted and hopefully will be done today. Lots of rubble into the bin / recycling or put away where it should live so kitchen bin and recycling emptied. I spent some time coralling shopping bags from various places as I was in danger of tripping over them. I put the box of china plates under the bed which led to some odd bits of things being binned / recycled. I did a session of self care and spent the time after tea doing some crochet. I am now on the border of the blanket and hopefully will finish it tonight. I have my next project in mind and am impatient to start it but 1 project at a time
@nannywindow and @Muddy_Walker big hugs
@Mrs SD love the book marks
Right better get weaving and get dressed hugs to anybody who would like one

So much going on here.
Reporting a bag of books to the charity table at the supermarket, a large bag of OOD meds for the chemist and a bag of food to the food bank we won't be eating.
Still ropey with one good day out of 3 energy and healthwise at the moment. That IS an improvement.
A huge frog arose this morning to do with brother and sister in law. Looks they they need to move out of their home for a while so my way they come; Manchester to Derby
Their Social Worker back Monday so I will be in touch then. I am told that the housing association have put them at the top of the priority list and will actively be looking for a place for them.Preferably sheltered accomodation.
Not ideal but I have a plan that I hope will come good so they can at least stay a few weeks.

Friday is dull & overcast, so much for the ‘red sky at night’ 😔 DH & DSis have just sett off (12:01) as today is “Car Day” 🙂
weenancy, useful info - hopefully our libraries do the same 🤞
Sorry to hear that you are barely getting any sleep Dfw38 😔 Hopefully your planned early nights will become a habit quite quickly & your DCs will start to settle down as well🤞Don’t forget the sleep pods aboard the EDT - almost like flotation tanks but with less water 😂
bigdaftkid, never too late to join 😊 I see that you have had a lovely welcome to our, now your, Declutterati Family 👋 Looking forward to getting to know you as you start your Decluttering journey, so welcome aboard the EDT 👏
oceanspirit, lovely welcome for bigdaftkid 😊 Hopefully you felt a bit more energetic yesterday but if not remember the TLC Carriage is there to rest & recuperate 😊 I have heard the sleep pods are marvellous 😉
Lovely welcome dND 😊
Siebrie, hope the garbage collection was on time 🤞Some excellent decluttering 👏 & hopefully a lot more space in your house 😊
florianatwobob, I was imagining something like a skull & crossbones 😂 only joking 🙃 I would have thought that getting a date tattooed on your finger was quite painful 😥 I hope your marauding was successful & you located the AWOL tupperware 🤞
London_1, excellent decluttering 👏 At the rate you are going you will have plenty of time to pop into the TLC Carriage & offer a consultancy service 😊 I might have to extend the EDT by adding a ‘Lecture Hall’ 😉 There will be plenty of drinks & snacks available & a full sit down meal or a buffet if you prefer - once you have finished 😊
Well done on getting the fridges sorted Moorviews 👏 A lovely supportive post 😊
Liverpool_Anne, you still managed to get quite a bit done on the last day of January 👏 I hope your team won 🤞
Great work Rootle 👏 Reminds me that I should really go through my cutlery & kitchen drawers again 😉
QueenJess, a belated Happy Birthday to DS 🎂 🎈 🎉 & I hope he enjoys his party 😊 It does sound like you are very nearly there with the decluttering & will soon be in Maintenance Mode 🥳 Hopefully as your DCs are getting older they will start tidying up after themselves 😉 Excellent decluttering as usual 👏 Although I had to smile at your observation “I was doing 1 thing to declutter versus 2 to tidy to get things tidied up as last weekend. I am currently 450 items behind on the tidying.... clearly decluttering is a bigger strength than tidying for me …. Maybe if I get rid of enough stuff there won't be anything left to tidy? I can hope... “ Not too sure your family will be that happy with an empty house 🤣
Excellent decluttering & rearrangement of the ‘sheds’ florianatwobob 👏 You & DSis worked hard 😊 Just wondering if DSis looked as ‘disreputable’ as you 🤔😂
Muddy_Walker, sorry to hear that you are unwell 😔 You have made an excellent start on sorting out your pensions 👏, so I think you should reward yourself with some time in the TLC Carriage 🙏
nannywindow, so very sorry to hear your news 😔 Lots of cwtches 🤗🤗 are coming your way. Better news for your DH 😊 The TLC Carriage is fully stocked & several of our Declutterati Family are having baking sessions to make sure that remains true 😉 Don’t forget to bring DH along as he can offer his opinion as to other facilities which might need to be added 😉
Such lovely supportive posts for you nannywindow - in no particular order, from daisy_1571, Brie, Muddy_Walker, bamboo_socks, ~FlowerPot~, florianatwobob & Floss with offers of baking, juggling, dogs, sloe gin & plumped up pillows & fluffed up duvet 🥹 Now we just need to get a delegation together to make sure that the doctors get a ‘shufty on’ 🤔
Excellent decluttering Brie 👏 Please let us know when you & nannywindow set up your juggling session as I would like to see how it’s done 😉
~FlowerPot~, please don’t sell yourself short that was excellent work on your January list - 50% 👏 You were flexing your decluttering muscles & getting into the swing of things 😊 Another way to look at it - how much would you have done if you hadn’t had a list 🤔 Good luck with February’s list 🍀
flamingo747, a belated Happy 21st Anniversary 😊
Floss, what a lovely thought ☺️ “nannywindow I've just plumped up the pillows & fluffed the duvet on the day-bed by the big picture window, so you can lounge & watch the world go by (bizarrely the speed of the TLC carriage is like one of those TV trains that Bill Nighy narrates, just right for relaxed sightseeing) xx” I had completely forgotten about that area of the EDT 😉
DH phoned a few minutes ago apparently certain parts of the railway system are on strike so the journey to pick up the car will take far longer than expected 😔 Also probably means that DSis will be driving back in traffic 😥
As I have caught up a little, I will post this & have a little rest 😉
