was planning to declutter lots and lots of leaves in the garden, but ended up doing another job, not decluttering anything, simply moving log piles!!! I wanted the seasoned wood we are using taken out of the log store (makeshift with pallets tied together!!!) and these are now piles against the side of the house and in in 4 containers ready to use next. And now the wood that DS2 has been chopping up is all in the store where it will stay and season. This pile will be added to with the rest of the wood to be chopped. I just hope it will all fit!!No one wanted to help me with my job this morning so I lugged all the logs and im pleased i managed to complete the job! The leaves will have to wait!!!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Mrs SD, you were right in that I had filed the papers, however they were all together in the wrong folder. At least they are found and some of them are now in their correct folder and others are awaiting me to clear the bags away from in front of the filing cabinet.

yes they were just womblers that raided the kitchen debris. Well it's less for the official crowd to deal with now.
As for being all Mary Berry in the shiny new kitchen I'm leaving all that up to him indoors!!! That said I did manage to fly by The Range and pick up a number of sturdy storage boxes to put tins and such in especially for the top shelves which are harder for me to reach.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Hi everyone
I escaped to the TLC carriage as RL was stressful; DD2 been ill and upset and I ended up driving 6 hours to bring her home for a bit. All ok now.
Have managed some decluttering this month - DD1's bestie works for a charity at the HQ and can drop stuff off there so she took a big bag of stuff. I've continued sorting out kitchen cupboards and getting rid of OOD food; now sorted 2 cupboards and one kitchen drawer. I found that the zero waste shop takes old stamps and ink cartridges so dropped off some stamps this week.
Love to all and will try better to keep up with all the news

For a change I had lots of energy this morning and cracked on with vacuuming downstairs and shampooing the sitting room carpet. I have taken a bag of clothes to the clothing bank and shuffled some papers into recycling. I had two inches of hair cut off the other day and it now looks four inches shorter! Much, much better though. Some things go under the radar with me and I have been failing to notice the 20 years out of date flower remedies in a kitchen drawer. Or maybe I just didn’t fancy emptying 50 tiny little glass bottles? All gone into glass recycling now. I used to use them quite a lot and was a real advocate of them but somehow this has just passed.Sorry that I don’t have time for a proper catch up this evening but Wow, that bag is so beautiful @vulpix! I am definitely stealing that idea for an old bit of my own needlepoint that I found recently. Thank you to @daisy_1571 and @weenancyinAmerica for the library suggestions. My library card stopped working for some reason so I need to go into town and get that sorted. I am now hopefully a member of the Anaheim library though!
@Deni_debt-free_dreamer - sorry that things got heavy there for a while but hope you and your daughter remain okay.@~FlowerPot~ sterling work on the logs there and a very satisfying job to get done!
@flamingo747 - my fingers are crossed for your car repair 🤞
Hugs for anyone in struggles and take care of yourselves.21 -
Vulpix , how gorgeous, and how lovely to have made something so beautiful incorporating your mum's needlework.17

Roofers did a great job on Kitchen extension roof. Treated myself to a larger sky-light and it lets so much more light in. They are back on Monday to put a new skylight in the main roof and at some time after that to make good the inside of the kitchen celling where a larger hole has been cut.
It was so lovely today not to have work going on and to put things back where they should be. We managed to get out this afternoon for a walk around Greenwich Park. I'm going to make an effort to start going for walks every day again. It was something I just used to do without thinking but having been under the weather and having work done on the house meant I've got out of the habit. I've put on a kilo over the Winter and I'd like it not to hang around or to invite friends. More importantly, I notice my mood is far worse if I don't get out regularly.
