I got my shampoo. They were tiny bottles! The Superdrug stuff is ok. My hair is looking nice. I’ve ended up with £25 cash so I am going out for tea with my friend this afternoon.
I've cut out caffeine.
Money win this week, I wanted a calendar but I got one off the free app. It’s one where you put photos in.0 bonus saver

Spent £25 on lunch yesterday. It wasn’t amazing and I didn’t feel great. But it was very nice to see my friend. We went to a lovely art gallery which had an exhibition of prints. I was sorely tempted.
Hoping for a NSD today.
Need to do my spreadsheet and work out if I can afford a new phone contract. I also want to join a gym. I suspect it’s either/ or although I think Pure gym is only about £15/ month.0 bonus saver

Do you really need a new phone? If you do work out if it will be cheaper to buy handset and go sim only; usually works out much cheaper
don’t take this the wrong way but you sound very much like me, determined to pay off debt and then buy stuff 🙄 that you think you need at the time but then afterwards know you could have done without it til you had the money to but itMFW 2025 #50: £1139.75/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

I don’t need a new phone except the battery doesn’t last very long. I will need a new one at some point.
Quiet afternoon. I’m watching Dogma the Kevin Smith film. £1 in the charity shop, DVD player free. Waiting in for Olio collectors.
I did buy a coffee this morning and some wool.

Do you have any Cash Convertors by you? They usually have phones. They wont be the latest ones but could last until you save up for a new one.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220

Hey,
Have you looked at your options on here for mobile phones?
Batteries can be replaced on nearly all phones, even apple. SIM only are the way to go if you need to save money. Myself included.

Hiya, I've just come across your diary, many well dones on paying off your credit card, that's brilliant!
I would definitely recommend doing a SOA, even if it's just based on one month, lots of knowledgeable people on here and it's amazing how much we don't see ourselves because it's our 'normal'.
As you've said, you do sound a little lost as to think about money and what it's for, what are your hopes/needs for the rest of this tax year and beyond?
An emergency fund so things like heating fixes don't put you in a skint position is good, a bigger emergency fund to cover three months bills and living is even gooder!
Are you happy with where you live, could that be a longer save towards?
You've mentioned wanting to put spare money towards holidays, working out where and when then saving in an exciting holiday pot sounds great for you.
You're in a really good position, well done- I hope you get your MSE mojo soon 😊1
