It's amazing how much money you can free up by paying off cards / debts etc. Just reducing a couple of direct debits makes the month so much more manageable!1

I’ve decided I’m going to put that money towards holidays when I have it. It’ll be a good motivator. Only 10 months to go, less if I overpay a bit.
At least it’s Friday, a bit rainy here though. I’ve got a few plans for the weekend. Sold a dress on Vinted so I’ve made £3. Just need to post it tomorrow.
Im still eating out of the freezer. I’ll do a big delivery shop to come next weekend if I can get a cheap delivery slot, if not a week on Monday.
Should be a fairly cheap weekend apart from buying ingredients for beef curry. My friend said she’s going to buy us coffee and cake on Saturday so I’m not going to argue. I might go for a swim or do an exercise class.0 bonus saver

I bought a few things yesterday but they were within budget. I do tend to burn through my weekly spending money pretty fast on a Friday and then just leave myself enough for a few coffees, but it's better than burning through a month's money just after payday, so I'll take it. I also booked a knitting course for £50 out of some money I had left over from payday. I'd been wanting to do a knitting course for a while and I'm looking forward to it.
I'm still spending roughly the same. Apart from a bit of credit card debt, I was vaguely living within my means, just in a very uncontrolled manner. It's nice to have some structure to my spending.
I also did a supermarket order for delivery next weekend. That has enough meals in until payday and leaves me £60 to spend on buying ingredients for beef curry this weekend and fresh food for the rest of the month. I should be able to do it.0 bonus saver

I have requested to pay AVCs as from April’s pay but I’m a bit concerned I’m overstretching myself. I will maybe do an SOA but do you think one month’s figures are enough to go on?0 bonus saver

Got paid, paid off my monthly £100 to the credit card. Did the sums and April looks ok. My monthly saver has matured so I’ve bought a few treats and going to put the bulk of it to savings. I thought about what people said about what do I really want to save money for. I’m going away in July for a couple of days and after a terrible stay in a Premier Inn last time I went away I decided on a couple of nights in a Hotel du Vin. I hope it’s nice.
Away for the weekend at my mum’s, have nagged her to do her LPA so she is looking at that at the moment. Went to the charity shop this morning and got a top and 2 DVDs. It was only £4 - it’s good value round here.0 bonus saver
