Week has been ok. Had to get some money out of some savings to survive the month. I bought some wool and some clothes.
I'm going to do no-spend March which is really just about NSDs. I find they work quite well to keep my spending down. I tend to lose interest halfway through the month but it all helps.
I need a new radiator which the electrician has quoted me £800 for. That's my emergency fund wiped out. I can't decide whether to wait until next winter to get it done although no doubt it will be more expensive then. I wish I knew if March and April would be cold.
Planned spends today, bread and coffee. Probably cost about £7.
Haven't touched the house savings which is good.
I have committed myself to going to Scotland to see a friend in the autumn. It will cost £150 for air bnb in Glasgow, £200 max for the train.
I also lost a £70 train ticket to go and see my sister which I am fuming about. I think I threw it away when I cleared out my train tickets from my trip to Eastbourne and the wool show. Yes I debated going through the bins.0 bonus saver

March is going to be a lean month because I haven't done any overtime and I reckon there might be something funny going on with my tax. I'll have to check my payslip.0 bonus saver

March and April can still be very cold months, we had snow last year in March here in Wales so may be worth it. Unless you can get heat another way? At least you have worked hard for an EF, otherwise you would just need credit, thats fantastic work! I hope you get your pay sorted0

Well I’m keeping up with the debt repayments. I have spent too much this month but can squeak by without going into savings. I never learn!
No bacon butties for me!
I’m away for a week but won’t spend much as it’s at my mums. Hopefully we will have nice weather.0 bonus saver

Lovely meal out yesterday. My sister paid which was lovely. That’s another reason I want to sort my finances out, so my family aren’t always paying for me. I had said I’d go halves with her. There were 4 of us. That’s saved me some money though. Haven’t spent anything today and sold a top for £5 on Vinted. I wouldn’t be brave enough to wear it and it’s a size 16 so it probably doesn’t fit. I need to send it today. I sorted a load of clothes and put them on Vinted yesterday. I put about 6 things on. It did remind me I love a couple of things and I kept them back to try and wear them.
Should manage a no spend day today and hopefully tomorrow. I’m going to London to see a friend but everything has already been paid for so just time to read and enjoy it. I’ll take a flask of coffee to enjoy on the coach (bl$$dy rail replacement) and a pack up lunch. If I get starving I’ll grab a sandwich for tea otherwise I’ll just make myself a simple pasta when I get home.0 bonus saver

Busting that debt one NSD at a time. It’s surprisingly easy when you put your mind to it. I looked over my bank statements and it’s surprising how much I do spend on coffee.0 bonus saver

I'm not going to London now as my friend is sadly unwell. I might get a takeout breakfast (£6.50). Not got many more nice clothes left to sell ha ha so won't be doing any more Vinted today. I've checked and checked and I definitely won't wear the clothes I am selling. For example, one is a beautiful Hennes shirt that needs ironing. I don't own an ironing board nor am I prepared to spend time ironing before I wear clothes. There is a mini dress that's too short for me and a skater dress which needs a loving new home.
Just need not to impulse buy anything between now and payday. I got a load of incense off the free app so that's saved me £10.0 bonus saver

I don't think I am going to have any more holidays this year. One a year is plenty. It's been so long since I saw my friend in Scotland though.
I want to get a pet. I'd like a cat, you can get cats that can stay inside all the time if they have a health condition. They're hard to find though plus I only have one big room so that's not ideal either. I did look at dogs as my neighbour has a dog but I'm out at work all day and I'm not prepared to leave a dog all day. There's also the vets bills to think about!0 bonus saver

I’ve just bought some tracksuit bottoms and a top for £40 out of weekly spends. No other major spends. Having a lovely time away. Just got to pay for the train ticket home (pray that the trains are running) and then do a food shop at the weekend. I’m going to make a few meals of burritos to perfect them as I picked up 3 tins of refried beans off the free app.
