Thanks for the prompt reply, I'll take your advice, however I am worried that they may state they haven't received the email, then a CCJ may be activated or something? Would it not be worth sending the paper copy as well to cover my self... TIA

I have automated responses via email from DCB Legal and DQ CNBC, so I'll leave it there? They cant say they never received the copy. I have sent them twice.

I hope they do not only accept physical paper copies, but I trust you guys know better than me.

The text box for question D1 is awful small to write my reasons for declining this option.

A simple text box overlay using 9 point Arial or Helvetica font will fit perfectly within the box.

I have done that on the electronic copy, it's just the paper copy they sent in the post there's not enough room. But I have completed and sent the DQ twice now and sent via email. just unsure if they require the paper copy also?

Hi guys, I received a letter from CNBC in the last few days

'This claim has been transferred to the County Court at _______ (my home town) for allocation. On receipt, the file will be referred to a procedural judge who will allocate the claim to track and give case management directions. Details of the judge's decision will be sent to you in a notice of allocation.

Does this mean the case is likely to be heard without myself or the claimant needing to attend a hearing? Does it sound to you that the case will go ahead after all?  TIA

You are speculating and don't appear to have studied the 12 steps in the defence template, or everything in the second post in the newbies sticky thread, I suggest that you read everything you can , also reading recent court claim cases so you know what to expect

Always assume that the whole process will be followed all the way to a hearing, a hearing where both parties attend, that is the planned journey for all sides

It may breakdown on the way, the journey may be abandoned or the route changed, but the typical plan is progressing in the usual manner

It's an odd use of the word 'decision' but it doesn't mean a decision on the entire case.

Just means "Judge's Directions to follow".
