    Good morning,

Weather is raining and windy here in my valley this morning, possibility of thunder later. No washing to go out today as I managed to get two loads dry yesterday, in-between the light showers.

At last the painting in the bedroom is finished, during the hot weather spell on a lot got done. Decided not to wallpaper one of the walls, wallpaper has been returned and the room looks lovely all one colour. Mr D has fitted a new light pull, that has been on the to-do list for ages. Few items to buy/get free are needed to finish the room, not in a rush to get these, see what turns up.

NSD have been few and far between, needed to buy one off things, milk, pasta, new outside sweeping brush, payment for two Vinted returns as I muddled up the orders. :( One items has been returned and will be re-listed as will the other item when it arrived back.

Yesterday was a NSD, today will need to do a small top-up shop, I have a list so wont forget anything I need. Large pile of stuff in the front garden ready to go to the tip, have had a garden furniture rearrange and I am much happier with the new lay out.

Did a car boot sale last Sunday and made £55.00, boot sale is only small and only on for a few hours, so i was very please with what sold. Planning to do another one in a different location next month, to get rid of the final bits that are in the summer house, Items leaving the house makes me happy, house looks so much  better.

Well done on the boot sale and decluttering.  It's very satisfying seeing things leave the house!

Wet Saturday afternoon in my little Welsh valley. Dog has been walked earlier this morning, when there was a break in the rain.

Had a busy month, car needed a new battery, refused to start to drive home from the car boot sale a few weeks ago, grateful it was on a weekend and not a working day when I could have had a client in my car. Battery cost £99.99 plus fitting, cost from car pot.

Also got rid of a load of stuff when I did a car boot, came home with an empty car as the charity who were running the sale took all my remaining items, now have an empty summer house which is great. Been listing lots of things on eBay and Vinted and quite a few have sold, still have lots more to work through.

Had planned for a no-spend day until I got an email saying the local butcher is taking orders for Christmas meat hampers, ordered out of the way, one list thing to worry about come Christmas.

Payday yesterday, all money allocated, regular savers will be topped up on Monday. I did winner works lottery this month, £500, will be taking this on holiday as extra spending money if needed. Speaking for holidays we fly to Turkey is 12 days, so looking forward to the break, last time we were there was in 2018.

    Good morning,

So glad it's Friday and only three working days next week, diary is looking very full for two days already, keeping the third day as a WFH day, to tidy up all the loose ends. Today is an out and about day, hopefully be finished by 4pm.

Looking at the weather forecast, we are in for a dry day, washing machine is on and there is a line full already out. Mr D will be on rain watch duty today.  :D  I will be looking to buy a washer/dryer when we return as I can go through another winter of drying laundry in the house.

Money wise have set up myself a little challenge to see how much I can make between the 1st September and the 31st December, set up a savings pot, hopefully as the numbers increase so will my motivation to make more.  Vinted sales have slowed at the moment, sold most of my summer stuff, have winter stuff ready to list.

This weekend will be packing and cleaning, (have to have a clean house before I go away) grocery spend will be small, as using up what is in the fridge and freezer. Will need milk, bread and some butter, not a lot else.
