    Good afternoon,

WFH today, so a NSD has been achieved along with yesterday. 4/15. Tomorrow I am out and about so maybe a different story.

Christmas saver matured today, new one needs to be open tomorrow for Christmas 2026 and funded. Sent some of the money over to P Bonds as I don't need all that I saved for Christmas. Christmas food is covered and I have a few gifts I need to buy. Interest went to my retirement fund.

Booked myself into give blood next week, had a text advising they are running low on my blood group, did not go the last time they sent a text as I was feeling under the weather. Fingers crossed for a health me next week.

Dinner again is from the freezer, found some tempura batter fish, we shall have this with baby potatoes and salad. Planning on a batch cook of bolognaise on the weekend as we have used up the stock we had and I have found two pack of reduced mince that can be used, will make a lasagne as well. DS will have Spaghettis Bolognaise for his Christmas Lunch, so I really need to get it made.

    Good morning.

Raining again in my part of the Welsh Valley, yesterday was lovely and manage to get some washing dry.

NSD for me today, no plan to be going out and about. Yesterday was a spend day bought new breakdown cover as I had the renewal letter in the post. Using a different company this year, have two years cover including home start which is what I wanted as my car is not 10 years old. Cover cost £54.42 plus £7.00 cash back which is already pending payment.

Did a small grocery shop yesterday using a gift card I had, meal plan done for the next 8 days, using up what is in there. Had the most delicious mango and white chocolate ice-cream from the freezer last night, Mr D was not to keen, all the more for me.

Also made a large pot of Bolognese Sauce will portion up when its cooled down and freeze as there is now space in the freezer. Will make about 6 tubs, and last us the next few months, easy evening meal for us.

Just checked my new Christmas Savings account 26 to see if the money I transferred over had gone in and it had not. Money had been sent back to my current account as I used the wrong reference number, all sorted know thankfully.

    Good morning,

Today is mostly WFH, I do have one appointment later this morning, I will be going straight there and straight back, ensuring a NSD 6/15.

Travel expenses have been paid this morning and moved over to the car pot and shared out. I have set up a savings account in the car pot to help fund a new car when I need one, currant total is £306.91. Old breakdown cover has been cancelled this morning.

Also packed eBay over night sales and will drop them off at the corner shop on my way out later this morning.  Postage cost covered so no spend for me.

£11.14 has been withdrawn from Top Cash Back and will be headed for the retirement Fund when it hits my bank account.

One very important thing I have to do today is ring DS and wish him safe travel as he is going to Australia in the next few days.

Is your DS on holiday or emigrating Doris?

Could you hint at the name of your breakdown cover provider? Two years cover at £54.42 sounds very good.
