Rain is back today, have decided that I am buying a washer /dryer on return from holiday. Don't want to take money from savings so I have applied for a 0% for 20 months credit card. Went through a cash back site and the £35.00 is showing as pending and will get an extra £25.00 if I spend in the first 60 days.

Life is so much easier with the ability to dry things when it's wet!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Good morning,
How the weeks are flying by! Life has been pretty busy, we had a lovely holiday and even brought the sunshine back with us for a few weeks. Today in my Welsh valley is wet and grey and going to continue raining all day. Hopefully there will be a small break for a dog walk as our spoil dog will not set food outside the house in the rain.
Washer/dryer has been bought on a 0% credit card and will be paid off yearly in the new year. Still getting to grips with the drying functions, will be a god send in the Winter. Still a few job to do in the house before Christmas mainly painting, will get these done over the next few weeks.
New fixed rate saver and 1 year bond have been set up. Christmas savings pot is full and will be available to spend at the beginning on November along with Mr T voucher. Meat hamper has been order and paid for from the local butchers, so Christmas is pretty much sorted. Not many gifts to buy as I have been picking up bits when I have seen them, will pay myself back for my spend, Boots points came in very handy for some of the gifts, will definitely be continuing with the recycling in the next year to build points back up for Christmas 2026.
Next two week I will be running down the freezer, ready to fill up with nice treat for over the Christmas period. There are a lot of unlabelled tubs in there so will be interesting to see what we will be eating. Today we are having roast chicken so gather together odds and ends to use, found some stuffing balls, possible from Easter and a few yellow sticker Yorkshire Puddings (no I don't make my own), they will be fine with some gravy on.
Good news Mr D has decided he is going to paint the bathroom, best I get it emptied, before he changes his mind.

Good morning,
Still raining here, there has been no let up. Hoping for a break in the rain later to get a dog walk in. Have a day off today, was planning to go out for breakfast, Dr D has woke up feeling under the weather, so will put off until another day.
Will need to go out later as I have a parcel to post and want to pick up dried peas to make pea and ham soup. Ham joint found in the freezer, will use up bits of veg I all ready have. Rest of the day will be spent pottering, did think about going to visit my DM, forgot she on holiday in Spain, something else to roll over to another day.
