Shock horror my gift card finally turned up to day!
It looked like it was meant to be signed for but there was noone in when it arrived!
Luckily I got it in the end but would rather the service was improved!
  • Rec.

the £100 gift card by recorded delivery

    A bottle of Champayne

    A Rose and Lily Bouquet

Refund back to the card of about 25 pounds

About £7 credit on my online account.

Strangely don't feel like they have done me any favours, my blood pressure has been up numerous times....Will never buy online again from marks and spencers simply because they lie continously.
  • I finally got a result with compensation.
Whilst it was alot more £ than others the whole experience was rubbish and would never have tried to buy anything from M&S if I know this would happen.

I have a saga that started in Dec, I thought it was sorted with a credit on my account but now twice I have tried to use it and 5 days later emailed to say item out of stock, even tho still showing in stock online.

There is much more to it than that. My question is who is the best person to ring or write to so i can sort this once and for all and hopefully get vouchers instead

I had fun and games with the last sale too but to be fair they did credit me with £15 twice (even though I ended up with no online sale bargains).

Last weekend my fortune turned - I spotted a couple of good buys in the Per Una clearance on the website and ordered them while expecting NOT to receive any of it. Today the order was delivered and I am over the moon with it all - a coat for £15, a skirt for £9 and a top for £5 - £137 of goods for just £29!!!

I know this doesn't help those of you still awaiting a resolution of your issues but I just wanted to say something positive about M&S online (for once!)
  • Would you believe it, I saw four of my orders cancelled due to items out of stock, and my first order has always just sat there, I sat quiet not calling M&S as a game to see if the pending order would go on as far as next Christmas!!!

But shock horror! I have received an email today saying the items are being dispatched. Even more interesting was the fact that I think these were items also ordered in the cancelled ones before!

So will have to wait and see what turns up!

Me too! I was amazed to finally receive the remains of my order from January 3rd today! :j Most of the items were things that had, alleged, gone out of stock previously, but they seem to have miraculously found them again. I must admit that I'd long since given up on this lot arriving (and had bought crackers in the Boots sale to make up for the ones I didn't think I'd receive from M&S - we now have plenty!).

But I did have the same thing happen in the Summer 07 sale, when things eventually turned up a long time after, so I think it's worth sticking it out if you don't need it urgently and waiting to see if anything will arrive.

My £25 giftcard which I was offered on 5 January arrived today. This was after I had complained twice.

This is on top of the £17 jacket I got for free. This was dirty when it was delivered. Instead of giving me some money off, CS gave me a full credit. Then when the conversation changed to another complaint, she forgot about getting my cc details.

This is also on top of £11.17 which I got credited to my account. I forget why, as I had so many complaints. This £11.17 has been credited to an order I placed on 13 February, which I had completely forgotten about, and only just noticed on my account. This order has a dispatch date of 21-23 April!

BTW I have been charged £3.50 delivery as you can't get free delivery if you already have promotions applied to the order. I might just wait and see if anything arrives before I complain, yet again.

I don't think I will be ordering from M&S online again.

Apparently £85 of Christmas items was dispatched to me yesterday from the christmas sale - a little late....

Infact I ordered most my stuff again from the existing catalogue using the sorry money they gave. May end up taking some of back to store.

Anyone else get "late" christmas orders dispatched recently?

Don't know if it has been posted on here already, but the M & S mid-season sale starts tomorrow.
