Hi all
Hope everyone is ok.
I have already received the DQ N180 only a couple of weeks after sending my defence.
Before I email it ,can I ask if there is any experience of, or advantage between Burton County court or Nuneaton?
Both of these are roughly the same distance for me.
Also, although I have had a letter from ELMS Legal to say they are representing VCS,I have had nothing from VCS to confirm that.
Should I send a copy to both just to be on the safe side?
Many thanks
(haven't posted my defence for perusal by the way!)0 -
Send the DQ to the CNBC and Elms only.
Either court is OK.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Evening all
Have received this today, just thought it might be of interest. Elms Legal no longer representing VCS,at least according to this letter! I assume I just ignore as I have no interest in negotiating a settlement.? Would this suggest that VCS aren't too confident or is it standard practice?
Many thanks

VCS usually play this trick. Don't know why - maybe just to unsettle it's victims.
Nothing you need do with that other than file it.1 -
Thanks KeithP
In the box it is then, along with all the other demands they have sent!0 -
Hi all,hope everyone is ok.
Sorry to bother folk on a Sunday.
I have now got a hearing for the 28th October and are now at the witness stage. The letter was sent to me on the 30th August while I was away and then i started a new job so I am only just getting on this now.
Would just like to clarify a couple of points if I may.
It states that the witness statement needs to be received no later than 28 days before trial so I have till 30th Sept.
Does it all have to be sent by post(to both the court and VCS) or by email? Just asking as in previous posts ,it was advised to only send by email to VCS.
Am I to include all of the transcripts I used in my defence?
As I understand after reading through some of the witness info,I should give my account of what happened, still withholding the drivers name, include the PoFA and the edited transcripts that I used in the defence?
I have also received a letter from VCS stating that they are confident that they have a strong case against me but will accept £200 settlement to avoid extra costs of £220 for a local solicitor.
Do I have to acknowledge this letter to them or just bin it?
Many thanks0 -
Hi
I am struggling to find examples of witness statements to structure my own.
Please can someone point me in the right direction.
Many thanks0
