Until now would read better than 'Till now'.

  • Thank you, I'll make that last change and send it off. Also, what are the chances of this being dropped after I send my defence in vs having to attend court?

Claim issued by UKPC themselves so we have no data; they are new to it from October.

IMHO they will have zero plans to send legal reps to hearings and will copy DCBLegal's model and discontinue before hearings.

There are dozens here like you. They'll have zero intention of going to hearings. Too costly. They'll be copying DCBLegal's model to a tee.

Let's hope so, thanks for your help so far. Defence sent off, lets see what they come back with. Btw, I didn't need to attach the blue badge in my email did I?

Sounds like you aren't clear about evidence stage and what comes when.

Please re-read the red capitals section in the second post of the Newbies thread called:

    Hi,

I've just received a reply from the claimant to my defence. There's also a directions questionnaire they've filled out, seems like they want to proceed to court.

No they don't.  Far too early to assume that.

    As I said in December:

Does that stuff they have sent you match the description in item 7 on that checklist you were following when you filed your Defence?

Here's those words from that checklist...
    7. Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire and the usual intimidating template letter saying they 'intend to proceed'. Nothing of interest there. Just file it.
The rest of that checklist might be worth another read too.
