Hi there,
the dashed line looks like the pathway boundary
I had noticed the dropped kerb is wider than the drive, unfortunately we have come away for a few days so can’t photo to show you0 -

the dashed line looks like the pathway boundaryIn which case you won't be able to park on that area, so if the driveway is widened onto what is currently grass you will have less than 4.8m depth - and the council may take enforcement action if you park there.Something else I noticed from the plan is the houses opposite are affordable homes. Often these aren't provided with as much parking as other houses on a development (to reduce costs) and as a result parking can be a problem. In your position I'd want to make sure I had the two full private parking places (in addition to the garage), even if that means having the garden wall partially demolished and rebuilt further away from the garage. In other words, be careful about accepting a shoddy compromise. (assuming your contract entitles you to expect two full size spaces)0 -
I have again asked for the plans and told them I’m not accepting the slabs until I know if it’s been built properly and to spec.Should dropped kerbs be in line with the drive?0

Deetyler14 said:Should dropped kerbs be in line with the drive? They should either be the full width, or else placed centrally relative to the spaces. This plan shows where the full height (red), dropped (blue), and transition (yellow) kerbs were supposed to be.The orange line shows footway edging, so I assume this will be the back of the footway (path). Does that line match the legal boundary on your title plan, or does that extend out to the red/blue line?

I’ve asked again… been told the paving slabs are a gesture of good will and has been built to specification… however have asked for plans to evidence this and still not had them0

Its going to look at but crap.
Wait a bit for their plans then ask them how much to add the same finish as your drive. Maybe a compromise can be had unless it is clear they have not delivered as sold.0 -
