  • #56 Mrs Cautious £250 added

I opened a loyalty saver and paid in from my current account. I have to note that these amounts I’ve been able to record will go down as I start to move money rather than save it for the first time.

  • Good morning all,

Hope you're all well and enthusiastically finding ways to save :)  I've been looking at ways to increase returns on money and used the MSE savings page to find suitable accounts.  Really helpful!

#57 Rukie:  Please could you add £198.27 (2nd February check-in)

    Have a good weekend,

    Rukie
  • #34 ReleaseTheStars adding an extra £313.59 to February

    Thank you.
  • #1 adding a final £500 to my personal savings pot for February.

Only 2 days of February left.  Everyone seems to be doing very well.

#58 - Here is my update for end of Feb24, Total to add - £1393.20
Which leaves an avg of £854 a month to hit the £12k

A bit better than I predicted for this month, has been wet and miserable out so stayed in a lot, plus I forgot the council tax break for paying over 10mths.

    Rough breakdown :-
    To savings accts/bonds - From Wage - £1109.00, From cISA Int - £127.75
Int on EA accts - £6.45 (Low until new FY)
    Premium Bond winnings - £150

March going to be tougher, need new front tyres shortly, plus I think I've got water coming in from outside around my porch area.  Just as well I've been saving :s

Ah well such is life...roll on next month.
