#56 Mrs Cautious updating after earlier February post and adding £970 for February

This includes new savings into 3 new regular savings accounts (West Brom, Gatehouse and Principality)  It also includes some interest after closing a savings account in favour of a better rate elsewhere.

Thank you for all the inspiring posts here and thanks @enthusiasticsaver and @Suffolk_lass for all the upkeep and work.

Well done everyone on all the saving so far in January and February.  Money all moved around this month in anticipation of what will turn out to be a very early payday.

    #59 KrsyW £2,000 for February

Paid for the blinds on the credit card (for the section 75 protection), and luckily will be receiving a bonus next month which will cover the payment out so have been able to reallocate some of the money from the blinds fund into the mortgage overpayment fund.

Stealth edit: Thanks again for running this thread!
Emergency Fund: £15,000/£15,000     Mortgage Overpayment Fund: £36,000/£72,000

    Mortgage:
Current End: Nov 47      Target End: Apr 34     Current End Inc Overpayment Fund: Sept 43
  • #13 TinaBallerina reporting £219.49 for January and £202.33 for February, after a far too spendy January, I've tried to be more cautious in February so far, but it's not reflected in my figures.  Ebay is one of my biggest downfalls, that and food, the food shop has got so expensive.  Hope I can keep my saving resolve up for the next few months at least.  Well done everyone on your totals so far!
