£1000 gone to savings this morning but like an idiot I have sent it to my YBS Christmas regular saver instead of our joint savings account.  That means I have to wait for it to bounce back as the regular saver has already been topped up this month and only takes £150. I need to distinguish between them on my banking app as the account numbers are very similar.  :/

It will be interesting to see how long it takes to bounce back.  Has anyone else done anything stupid like that? That will teach me not to do online banking early in the morning in a rush.

Almost did. I changed a reference on Chase toward the end of February, deciding that as they no longer stored the two most recently used references, I would instead fund one from my Chase account and the other from my Nationwide account. It then changed itself back, so I almost sent the funds to the already funded via Nationwide account.

Certainly a lesson to check all details before making a payment, even if you have used them before.

Small change saved so far this month, but will be an unexpectedly good month courtesy of Ernie (AKA Premium Bonds.) Will update once the bulk of the savings have hit the accounts.
