Good afternoon,
Longtime lurker, first time poster. Would it be possible to add me for £7,000.
Kind regards,
Rukie3 -

For clarification, do you want a separate saved figure each month, rather than a running total? As it looks like you have a formula to calculate percentage and total saved.

I have included and will continue to include, pension contributions, S&S ISA interest, deposits into savings accounts and interest earned on all of these and will adjust due to any negative impact on pension/S&S ISA. As these all contribute to accounts holding higher amounts, I understand they are all okay to include.I should have maybe another £177 to add this month but have wanted to update already to get committed! Following months will be nowhere near this figure as I’ve counted interest from accounts that have just matured in this.My goal is to continue to save, maximising interest and allow my finances to grow. I’m an empty nester with grown up children, living with my partner, currently working as a contractor. I’m a very frugal person with low overheads except for getting away.Looking forward to being inspired here, thank you to everyone on the thread, wishing you great success in your saving endeavours and thank you to the brilliant work from those who keep it going.7 -

Phew, two, or is it three days of business and I had 37 updates to read here!
Just a suggestion from me for new people - maybe click the little pennant symbol (top right on my screen) so you have bookmarked the thread, then when you go to quick links you will find it and it will pop to the top when someone updates, acting as a reminder (as well as including your challenge number in your updates please, as we are now fast approaching 60 people)Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
