Here for my daily check in and good to see some new joiners and updaters.

First things first with my update as another credit hit our account today.

#1 enthusiastic saver  £800 total now for January

I added a further £500 to our joint internet saver and £100 to my personal internet saver.  So added to my RS that makes £800.  Might  be  some further payments into savings near the end of the month.

I also added £300 to my savings spaces in Starling to cover holiday as we booked a few days away over the Easter holidays with family and £100 to the house account as we need a new living room carpet. I don't count that in my savings total though as I know they will be coming out at some point.

The automated money shuffle to the various RS accounts has now completed, and I'd forgotten about the balance sweep from our joint account to an instant saver I'd started a couple of months ago, so will include that too from this month.

I also have a savings pot for annual expenses (insurances, car expenses, Xmas etc) but I'm not going to count that as it's dipped into through the year as needed.

    £900/£12,000 for January

The amount is split into various regular savers. I’m not on target and won’t be until late March.

    Thanks
