Thanks for hosting, I would like to join, I am also doing the mortgage free wannabe challenge, I read that I can combine the totals that I am saving here. I am also going to take money from the pot by means of a bathroom refurb. So I beleive I can save £3000 plus £1800 in total for the year and maybe a little more so If I say my total for the year is £5000, I will change my signature and put as total saved for the year as to the amount including everything, I will also bookmark this thrad to update you. The first two months will be to pay off the credit card which I used just at the end of the last year towards the bathroom re-do (tiles). Thanks.4

First £300 has gone into FD regular saver today, so I'm off the mark.#21 Save £12k in 2025 £10477.35/£20000

January will be a slow one for me, as several Regular Savers’ contributions were saved into a pot in December and so are too early to count. At the other end though, anything saved into a pot for January 2025 contributions will fall between the two dates and be counted for 2024.

So update
#1 enthusiasticsaver £200 January 2024
You can update as many times as you want so either once at the end of each month or as you save if money is going into different places. I leave it totally up to savers as to what they count as savings, so investments, pension savings or mortgage overpayments if you wish. It will help me and Suffolk lass if you embolden the update so they stand out on the thread.
Here is the link to the spreadsheet so you can view progress over the year.
