Honestly, it's been that long i forgot what to send, unless it's literally copy pasting the email here?

I looked at the newbs post but couldn't see anything about posting anything after discontinuance. Do i just post the email here?

No, not the email ! The email is not the discontinuance, the attachment is !

Post A redacted picture of the N279 discontinuation document attachment below , same as 940 other people have done for the discontinuations thread by Umkomaas

No, we need to see the actual N279 Notice of Discontinuance.

Quentin Posts: 40,405 Forumite5 August 2017 at 1:33PMIf you were to lose, then bear in mind that unless you pay the judgement off in full within a month it will stay on the register for 6 years even if you pay it off subsequently. This may be of some concern if you need anything at all on credit or involving a credit check.

You don't need to counterclaim for your lost earnings. Be ready to ask the judge for your expenses attending court after you win!

It makes me feel like i shouldn't have necessarily challenged the fine at the risk of this! This sounds like a ccj, if i couldn't pay within a month….? That's disgusting and makes me realise the severity of the risk involved! :

Which is why any sane reasonable person would pay it off IN FULL as soon as possible after the hearing, to stop a CCJ from being recorded on the register

Nobody should be paying these invoices just to avoid a future possibility, especially if they know what to do should a judgment go against them in a court hearing

Yours didn't even get to a hearing because they didn't want to pay for the hearing, or pay for an advocate to attend the hearing, or lose at a hearing
