That sounds like it is going well. Perhaps aim to get the report done today and then you can ‘pack’ work away until it is all done!
Fingers crossed for exchange today! 🤞🤞🤞

Thanks KK and Jwil
Apparently buyer's deposit now in place. My stuff is all ready to exchange - my seller's solicitor just needs to confirm they are ready to exchange and if so it's all go for this afternoon.
I now need to sort my home insurance and send her a copy and updated bank statement so I get my remaining £ on the day.
I also need to sort out my utilities, broadband etc.
KK - I'll do the report later and over the weekend. I had such disturbed sleep that I only got up at 11. Apparently some of the fence panels blew out which is part of why it was so noisy. Handyman has been and propped them back for now.
Looking at what's left to pack - I possibly didn't need the extra packing boxes but I can always use them flat packed to help protect a bunch of my paintings and then bubble wrap around that. I've found a couple more lids for my see through boxes so that's positive.
The handyman has been and taken 4 pieces of furniture, surf boards, 3 boxes of stuff etc and is coming back for the bike. I need to tell him about some outside stuff when he returns.

Hope exchange goes through ok this afternoon! Glad Handyman has been as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2

Thanks Jwil.
I've exchanged!! So all set to move on Tuesday. Completely wiped. May nip out for some food as don't fancy what I have in. Although just had my fave coffee cake.
I've sorted my broadband. Kicking myself for not taking a risk and ordering it earlier as earliest installation date looks to be 2 weeks today. BB at the new place is really slow so hoping that isn't too big an issue!! Slightly cheaper than I pay now but for a quarter of the speed - and I'll get £51 cashback at some point. I can get out of my current contract for free as they don't offer a like for like option there. I'm assuming I can use my work mobile for the final week of the 2 weeks - I'm off next week. I may download a load of stuff now in advance for things I may want to watch etc. I may be able to move to a really cheap sim deal with that supplier so may do that. It looks like I could get 100gb a month for £10 which would be amazing.
I went with my existing insurer for now - I got a better price when I kept the billing address and the new address the same - it was dearer than some of the others I saw but I added some extra options and its 5 star rated so felt more comfortable with that. So £291 - rather than the £240 I thought earlier - but extra features - and the prices had changed anyway when I went to confirm. I'm due to get £28 back on my car insurance so that will be nice at some point.
I've had it confirmed how much change I'm due to get from the house so currently playing with my spreadsheet. I've been doing life admin today rather than physical packing... Really glad the handyman related stuff has gone. I need to make myself move and shift some of the stuff from the living room into the garage. I'll then feel I can breathe a bit better and feel less overwhelmed.
