Yep - getting a 502 bad gateway error message. Mind you, I only saved 6p last time as I was away for a week so they were calculating based on me not having used anything for the previous days as well as the day involved.franic said:Made £1.44, saving 0.48kwh. Anyone having problems registering for tomorrow? Link in my invite email not working.0 -
I had three goes trying to register yesterday when the email came out, successful the third time. Too many people trying to register at the same time I guess, what happens when they leave it so late to announce it.1

Wow, they don't give you much notice do they? Got an email 1 hour before today's slot.0

Are these Beat the Peak events by the main suppliers driven by some sort of Ofgem compliance or guidance requirement?
After saving a few pence on the 1st EDF Beat the Peak event, I have lost all enthusiasm to sit around in the dark for an hour to save a few pence more!!!0 -
I didn't think cold weather was an issue now but gridwatch is saying there is 45GW demand at the moment. Don't think my savings are going to make much of a dent in that. My fry up should just about have missed the 5.30pm start but it depends how accurate the clock is in my smart meter.0

I'm starting to think its pointless, first time I made 0p and second time 8p!! Not sure about the last 2 as results not in yet. The problem is it's not my peak time for electricity usage, it may be the uk average peak time but its not mine so hardly worth it. My peak time would be mornings and lunch time, after that hardly use electric. Will see what next 2 results are but if its pennies I just won't bother.0

Just got my email. 32p saved

Well then you are already doing your bit for being green and using energy outside of the peak times.[Deleted User] said:I'm starting to think its pointless, first time I made 0p and second time 8p!! So to that end if you have a smart meter I hope you have a tariff that rewards you for using energy when you do?0
