Friday 1800-1900 210/MWh zones 4,6,7,9,10,11,12 !!!

It appears I am not in Z11, but in Z12 I am right on the 12 side of the "border". They don't make this easy do they I am under the same dno as @jackieblack (10) , but how can we tell. The NESO map showing Carbon intensity is different again ??

anyone had their Sept leccy bill yet? Am worried these happy hours are going to skew things - been trying for years to get them to reduce my direct debit ever since we got solar / battery as each year we have to be refunded £550-£700 by 🐙 - they finally saw the light and reduced it to prevent building a massive balance that had to be refunded. But they keep trying every month to increase it and I have to email CS each time which is a pain.

@SuzeQStan - I've been on a payment holiday for the last 12/18 months (can't honestly remember) as they could see it made no sense for me to pay when I was exporting far more than the cost of import. This year will be a bit different when I start running the heat pump, but I'm hoping to come out cost neutral by the end of the winter (currently just under £700 in credit and still only using anything significant during negative/free periods). It might be worth a further discussion.

@SuzeQStan would monthly variable DD (where you pay for how much you've used, a different amount each month) suit you better? Octopus offer this but you need to ask, you can't switch to that payment option online.

Not sure if this has been mentioned.

The happy hour I selected for Sunday 13th Sept 11am-12 was paid incorrectly they used my half hourly usage from Monday 14th Sept. Took about 5 emails and downloading my HH usage to finally get them ti accept their error.

So check what you used and got paid for.

their CS still think I am arguing the toss about what we used during the happy hours instead of the fact I’ve got a red thumbs down for 15/9 export during the saving session. They tried to tell me there is no wider issue but from the amount I’ve read here and elsewhere that just ain’t true

My Happy Hour for the 13th came through today (ie. 12 days): 5.93kWh, £1.52.
I've now got 2 available for use, so will see when I can fit them in; I might have to do two discharge/charge cycles on the same day.

I've also got 924 octopoints, which are worth £1.15.

So, a bit of a game to save me £2.50.

On the gamiification front, I even went for an hour's walk today and yesterday during the power-down session, so that's got me out and about!
