I've signed up but as I'm on Agile and try to use as little as possible between 4 and 8pm it really won't make much difference.  Probably another 2p if I'm lucky.

I'm wondering why they need it. Could it be something to do with World Earth Day?

We've got quite a lot of sunshine where I am. Not going to export though, forecast for tomorrow is clouds and rain, will keep our batteries full.

TBH, not much scope to save at this time of year @ 18:00 to 19:00. Short of turning everything off & going for a walk.

In our house that will be 2 laptops not plugged in.

I was a little taken aback when I got an invite to this session, having rejoined Octopus last week (and not expecting to still be signed up). I opted in, but as they aren't yet receiving any data from my smart meter I expect I'll end up with the average number of points.

Well that was the easiest session, so far. Apart from turning the thermostat down a degree, to make absolutely certain the heat pump didn't fire up, my normal consumption was more than covered by solar, even though the clouds were rapidly encroaching from the Irish Sea.

I looked back. Apparently it was earth hour we did back in march. Earth week next. Turn your power off for the week and get a 4" plush octopus.

I could do that, as long as the sun shines every couple of days :)
