Octopus rejected (at 17.7p I think?)

    (£171/MWh)
PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)

Oh well another 16 points or 2p...

Wonder if this is just the base rate they are paying. As the last 8 sessions have been 0.15 kWh. Which is just me sat without a max 10 low power led lights off for the period, as that is all I can cut down on. Short of turning off TV Mrs is watching... No hope of doing that 😶‍🌫️

My last 6 saving sessions have all been 16 points, 2p.
Like many, I have lost interest now so just opt in and carry on as normal.
    So it's strange it always 2p, never 1p nor 3p. :/

3.6 p in total for the last 3 sessions I did - only effort I make is not to cook during a session - last year when they paid many times the actual cost of a unit for what was saved I shut the power off at the meter but not worth it this year.

5p/4p/11p for the last three sessions for us.  I have no idea how but I'm not complaining.  Adds up a bit quicker than the monthly 1p x2 from spinning the wheel

Call me selfish if you like, but I pay quite a lot of money to have electricity "on tap" to use as and when I need it 24/7. By participating in these saving sessions, and annoying the OH by switching everything off for an hour (including her precious TV), I can reduce my monthly cost by about 0.04%, based on the latest sessions. The saving to the environment is probably even less, because I'm essentially just shifting the time of use of the same electricity. I don't even opt in any more.
