Our battery / inverter seem to always play grab-@ss around sunset and won’t discharge for about half an hour - it even imports a small
amount from the grid each day around sunset. So we didn’t export much at all - not through lack of trying! 😤😤
Which battery/inverter do you have ?
Growatt the both of them - have played around with discharging the battery when less full, starting discharge 10-15 minutes earlier than the session - it won’t play ball for a full half hour.

Well done folk, I missed my chance - didn't get home and see the email until 1630, and then it was too late!

Thanks @debitcardmayhem - we use the shine app - I’ve seen somewhere that growatt inverter struggles with dusk leakage 😳 🤣 we have had varying degrees of success with exporting to grid over the last couple years - but the dusk issue is a problem we haven’t been able to solve.  Sunset seems to cycle the inverter in a weird way!

Well that's annoying, I was asleep until gone 6 so didn't know about it.  Doubt we would have saved much (I still can't get in the heat pump cupboard by myself) but all the pennies add up.  Oh well.
