Really should not have to opt in each time. Once should be enough.
I presume it's to avoid paying people who didn't know it was happening, but just happened to be out at the time.

According to the streamlit.app that someone introduced us to, I made 5 pence yesterday! I don't know why I still bother to do it, but here I am again sitting in the dark.
  • I wonder if the folks on agile can ever take part, since they seem to avoid 1600~1900 like the plague and don’t have much room to save.

Our battery / inverter seem to always play grab-@ss around sunset and won’t discharge for about half an hour - it even imports a small
amount from the grid each day around sunset. So we didn’t export much at all - not through lack of trying! 😤😤

Exported 1.8 kWh which should give us £1.01, plus 27p for the standard export. By the time we've topped up again overnight, I think we'll be about 60p to the good. Hardly life changing.

Yes we're on Agile with solar and batteries, so exported for the hour. Didn't bother exporting yesterday, so although I opted in, I doubt we'll have made any money as our normal usage in the 16-19 slot is absolutely minimal, as you say.

I wouldn't be on Agile if we didn't have the solar and batteries. Couldn't possibly shift enough usage to overnight to make it worthwhile.
