Depends what tariff you are on for export. We're on 15p fixed export tariff so we never export in that slot unless it's a midsummer's day and the battery is completely full. Even so it wouldn't be much.

Managed to save 70W and got 6p for my efforts.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Jan 8th £1.36 + .54 exp.
@Slinky I am on flux so I get 27.44p 1600-1900, but I only export then if the battery is virtually full, and I need to keep some back to see through til 0200, since 25.57 import + 10% loss on conversion to dc/ac.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . I think I would be quite anxious about exporting at that time worrying we wouldn't have enough for our own use. I'm thinking about getting a quote for adding in a couple more batteries. We have 9.6kw at the moment, use between 6-9kwh per day. We jhave 4.1kw of panels

Apparently the average for those opting in was 25p.
"We don't know exactly how much power you saved in the session as we weren't able to get readings from your electricity meter – but we're giving you 200 Octopoints, (that's £0.25), the average received by all customers as a thank you for taking part!"

18p worth of points from the saving session.
