I did the same - £1.20. Without the export it would have been undetectable!

£2.06 for me, again using the battery without which any saving would be negligible

Makes me wonder what percentage of the overall total comes from battery owners. On the one hand there are far fewer of us - on the other hand we're probably the only ones making worthwhile (albeit small) savings. Anyone want to guess?

It would be interesting to see more detailed stats, most people can probably only shift a few kWh because that is all they normally use, battery users can possibly shift more, but many will normally be exporting in that window anyway as it is normally a peak export window.

I habve no hard facts to support your theory, but it makes a lot of sense. I must be one of many without panels or batteries, good old gas central heating, and the only way I can save is by ensuring no heavy use electrical appliances are active during the saving window. The potential rewards, and environmental benefit just aren't worth the effort, particularly when just shifting use to another time has zero environmental benefit.

6p for me which isn't bad considering I only opted in because "why not", wasn't even at home and so did precisely nothing to actively cut down!

My Smart Meter is currently not sending readings and I got

"We don't know exactly how much power you saved in the session as we weren't able to get readings from your electricity meter – but we're giving you 200 Octopoints, (that's £0.25), the average received by all customers as a thank you for taking part!"

I never actively changed anything during the session, but looking back at actual usage (I can see that in the Octopus app) it was actually around 2kWh lower than average so I lost 25p due the the SM not communicating :(
