DVLA licence renewed, signature tiny on new licence

I renewed my licence in July as the photo was out of date and used the Post Office service so photo would be acceptable and the process trouble free. The licence was returned within a week but the signature was tiny. I phoned them and they told me there wasn't a standard for the signature size on the licence. That was their stand. As my licence had to be renewed again before December I decided to wait and see if the renewed licence would have a larger and legible signature. I received the renewal in early October and renewed it online. Again I received the licence within a week but the signature was tiny. I phoned them to ask for the licence to be reissued with a legible signature. Again, they said there wasn't a standard for signature size. After a lot of 'discussion' they told me to return the licence with a covering letter and form D1 with my usual signature within the signature box. FAO: The Manager, ISG-16. I returned it on 19 October.
As I hadn't received my licence back, I phoned the DVLA yesterday. The CS assistant said there was no record of receiving it and asked if I used Track & Trace. I didn't think of that as the two licences they posted to me was via standard delivery. Again, they said the signature size was unimportant and the space available on the licence was limited. See photo of signature part. Space is available for my normal signature. The only way to read it is with a magnIfier.

Has anyone else experienced problems with their signature on a recent licence and does it matter that it's not legible with the naked eye.

Never looked at it, never noticed how big or small the signature is, never found it to be an issue because no one has ever asked to check the signature on it anyway.
if it’s proof of ID they are only interested in the photo, dob and address.
What do you forsee the problems might be.?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2 -
So you haven't checked your licence. Are you sure it's your details. Presumably the signature is there for a reason. If there isn't a reason, why have it on there. Space is not a factor as you can see. There is plenty of space for my normal signature.

As above, this is a non-issue.
So far as I can remember, the last time anyone used my licence signature as proof of ID was about 1968, and the licence was a small red booklet.1 -

The problem you have now I think is that you don't have a license and will need to pay to have another issued.
That's what happened with my OH when we sent both our licenses in to be updated when we moved. Mine was returned and his was lost. He had to pay for a replacement and then send that back in to have the address updated. Wasted a lot of time and money for all concerned.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. A driving licence can be used for ID.
Has anyone else experienced problems with their signature on a recent licence and does it matter that it's not legible with the naked eye.
Please look at your licence if it was renewed electronically. Is the signature legible.

I use my license for ID every time I take stuff to the tip. No one cares about the signature, just my address. I have also used it to open bank accounts. No one cares about the signature, just my name, address & photo.
I can see the signature - just. It is incredibly small but I can tell it's mine. It's not legible but my signature isn't even when large.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. Just checked it. It is probably about the same size as yours.
Not planning to do anything about it because I've already been using it as ID to open bank accounts and it has caused me no issues whatsover. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
