I've found giving the LLMs custom instructions or adding this to a prompt will stop hallucinations; at the end of the day, the LLM is only grasping at straws based on statistical probabilities that get weaker and weaker - Do not infer, extrapolate, speculate, or combine distant concepts. If the answer requires guessing, creative synthesis, or uncertain reasoning, reply exactly: “Sorry, no idea."
