    None.
Thankfully I still have a reasonably functioning brain and my own mind, although at 65 who knows how long that might last.
Might consider it when I'm dribbling and incontinent though.
Not sure what good it would do you then unless someone else secures it for you!

I'm all for the efficiencies AI can bring but not the falsifications that people seem hellbent on using it for.

Oh dear  :'( Maybe this advise would be of help...

    Nothing beats a worked example!
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

    Thanks for the examples here.

Has anyone used an AI app to help keep track of their money? Eg, Cleo, Pocket Guard or Rocket Money?
  • Hi Laura, sorry but I haven’t used any of these products at all. I manage money using Excel spreadsheets and have done so for decades. I do however, use Windows 11 Copilot Preview all the time to better understand all manner of things.
  • Hi Laura. Knowledge begins with recognizing one's own ignorance and the capacity to learn more. In that pursuit Perplexity is my preferred AI although I do use Wndows 11 23H2 CoPilot Preview.

I always use my other half's intelligence, hers is better than the artificial stuff as she's always right. One just has to ask her! Victor Meldrew is good too, the "yes dear" approach works a treat for an easy life. I am now looking forward to needing a hearing aid so I can turn it off. Happy days.

The only thing I've learned from this thread is that after twenty years, people still can't use spell-check.
I'm not sure this AI thing will catch on....

Perplexity.ai was asked whether AI would catch on, its shared output is here

Adobe AI Assistant  found via SP Bill suggestion.
Is good though limited providing Calculation formula rather than making Calculation as such.
Maybe too soon to check compatible files, another PDF Doc is rejected as 'Scanned Files' not supported.
This was from a retailer quote

I asked perplexity.ai about Adobe AI, the conversation is shared here.
  • Which AI tools do you use to save money, boost your income or organise your finances?

Let us know your success stories (how much did you save? What did you learn?). Does your bank offer any AI tools and if so, are they a help or a hindrance? We'd like to hear of any duds you've tried too. Thank you.

The many contributors to these forums undoubtedly think before posting their comment. But not AI it seems including my own assistant Perplexity.

There are two types of LLM: agents and applications, what follows applies to both. Whilst using AI I noticed they have an annoying tendency to loose the original context or go off on a tangent. The reason for this is, and without exception they all lack an introspection layer something that cannot possibly happen with our own erudite contributors.

Technically they are open-loop systems that do not have the feedback of introspection to correct context errors. They are geared to low latency, a need for speed reporting, so in a way its the first thing that comes into their  'mind' that gets reported.

Some of you back in the day will have been introduced to combinational logic design using methods like Karnaught, a few like myself went further to use Quinne-Mckluskey. This method has huge philosophical implications when solutions are being sought. To cut to the chase a very technical disscusion with perplexity was entered into about this and its comprehensive replies can be found here. They reveal where the next generation of AI will go and how a layer of introspection will help them deliver better quality answers to question or issues being asked. What do you think...
