Good morning my lovelies xx
Oh my, everyone is having such a tough time. My inbox is always there if you need to talk. I don't have the answers but I'm a good listener.
iona - I hope you have a restful day lined up for yourself xx
YL - you have so much going on. Don't forget to look after yourself too xx
That goes for you all. Self care is not selfish. You can't pour from an empty cup. You are amazing- allow yourself to acknowledge that fact! And cut yourself some slack. ❤
I'm up, made my bed and had a brew. A frosty start to the day with mist hovering over the fields.
I'm going to have another brew and some toast & marmalade. Pull up a chair and join me?
Love to you all

Savoured brew 2 and my breakfast. Sat and admired the orange glow of cotoneaster berries waiting to feed the blackbirds later in the season. The mist that was rolling on the fields has expanded into a fog, and although the sun is shining through, the bungalow opposite is hazy. Temperature has risen from 1° to 2°, which makes me grateful that I am toasty indoors.

I put the cans of cola in the fridge and recycled the box; removed the cans of lemonade from their box and recycled it, and removed the last boxes of tissues from their box and recycled it. Every little helps 😊
Six Christmas cards written.

Been through a pile of papers on the unredeemed side of the kitchen worktop: two newspapers and several instruction booklets for items no longer residing here are now in the recycling box
Need to message P and ask him to bring WD40 when they come tomorrow- shed lock is rusted solid and I want my steps...2 owl biscuit barrels and a chicken egg holder are going to be washed and placed on top of the wall cupboards, resulting in a little more visible worktop 😊

Hi everyone, Hope everyone is having a good Sunday. I've just got around to doing my list as I've been out with DD and the local guides group.
Today
Get dressed
Feed the animals
Finish writing up uni notes.
Pay the heating oil bill
Look at the finances for this month
Make a festive food list
Do preventative treatment for the cat
Make a start on ordering festive food (Note to self - this really needs to get done as running out of time)
Order animal feed and bedding.
Sort out the bags and clothes for tomorrow.
Think that is every9 -
Caught up at last, and apropos of absolutely nothing have just realised the window I sit under at my desk is absolutely filthy. No time to deal with that today.Happy belated birthday Fayolle, and I'm very sorry I missed it.(((hugs))) for ASB and YL. You both have your hands so full at the moment I'm amazed you're still functioning. Please don't make any decisions while you're feeling grim ASB; it's the weather and exhaustion but things will be better when the sun comes out again, and it will. It always does.Sorry your husband has issues with alcohol Allie23. I do too, so I gave up over nine years ago and have never regretted it. The first 60 days are difficult but it's doable provided places where booze is likely to be are avoided and whatever triggers the first drink is skipped. I ate very early and went to bed very, very early, read a lot and got a lot of sleep. I also ate a lot of chocolate. We're packed, the dog's backpack is packed, Belovéd is going to speak to our lovely neighbour who is going to feed the cats for us, and I've printed and noted down all the bits of information we need to get from A to B if the mobiles don't work for an hour or three.I've also scoured the sink and cutlery draining caddy (very nasty indeed), and folded and put away the last of the laundry I could get washed and dried this week. It's been horrendously wet and rainy so getting three bed changes washed and dried, plus all the undercrackers and teeshirts Belovéd needed done was a constant shuffle. Now to go and chop chicken for the dog to take on her holibobs and then climb into a bath.See you all next weekend.Better is good enough.9
