Like inflation, we will all have out personal rate of taxation, which can be added it up from all manner of things. I'm struggling to think of a scenario where someone would be better off in real terms under the coming tax regime.

iFast Global Bank - never heard of these guys before, but I've just spotted them on Moneyfacts, offering 4.25% instant access savings accounts in GBP and lower rates in other currencies. They seem to be a savings and transfer payments subsidiary of a Singapore-based wealth management firm.

Sainsbury's Bank - Bonus Websaver offering 4.5% on balances up to £500,000. Looks like instant access as well?

Well definitely seems like rates will start to gradually move downwards but at the moment I can sort of settle for getting a rate above inflation. I know it won’t make up for the months when it’s been behind but have to grab hold of small gains when you can2

For small gains try the Principality 6% in the headlines today, for a max of £50 a month !!!!1
