iFast Global Bank - never heard of these guys before, but I've just spotted them on Moneyfacts, offering 4.25% instant access savings accounts in GBP and lower rates in other currencies. They seem to be a savings and transfer payments subsidiary of a Singapore-based wealth management firm.
Could that be an option to get USD out of Paypal without their crazy exchange rates?
No idea I'm afraid, I don't do anything in other currencies!
Is anyone else having problems logging into Principality's website? Across two browsers their website is failing to load for me...

Website loading OK, don't have an account to check out login.

Principality is working fine for me, I've just logged in and viewed my accounts without any issues, have you any ad blockers at all?, I've found these can sometimes cause issues with some banks.

It wasn't my adblockers, but that comment made me realise it was my VPN. Cheers.

Sainsbury's Bank - Bonus Websaver offering 4.5% on balances up to £500,000. Looks like instant access as well?

Well definitely seems like rates will start to gradually move downwards but at the moment I can sort of settle for getting a rate above inflation.  I know it won’t make up for the months when it’s been behind but have to grab hold of small gains when you can

For small gains try the Principality 6% in the headlines today, for a max of £50 a month !!!!

Small indeed, but fixed for two years. There's 5.5% to be had too, £250/mth fixed for a year.

Just gone online with Santander to pay tax bill due 31 January and HMRC has disappeared from my list of  payees! It's annoying enough when they drop one if unused for about a year but that was used last July. At a time when they've started locking in references for some financial institutions (not helpful for those who increase rates via new issues) I've had to re-enter details for HMRC and quadruple check reference.

    Rant over!

I also have a link in my Lloyds account but think it's safer to log into HMRC and just pay a debit from there, no chance of 000s ending up somewhere they shouldn't.
