Barclays £175 switch offer - new customers only, Nov 1 - 30 2023

I'm in that boat. The offer was clear imo, open a regular account and join Blue Rewards OR open a Premier Account (no mention of joining Blue Rewards). 

Switch went through 16th Nov, waiting and expecting the £175. Will be raising merry hell if not, given the hassle this has been.

Judging by the comments in this thread no-one seems to have had the £175 bonus since a first batch were paid out on Monday 20th November (incl I think MikeJXE). Some were told there would be a payment run on Monday 4th December but that didn't happen. So lots of people still waiting. But there's another Monday coming soon!

I opened the Account on the 7th and received the £175 on the 20th November 

All very simple at the beginning you just need to be patient because the correspondence is very poor.

Seems to me like absolutely no one has had a smooth ride with Barclays! We're on page 99 of this thread!

I made the switch 30th November, done the Blue Rewards stuff, paid in £800, have been charged the £5 for being part of Blue Rewards, had the switch go through today (DDs have moved as well as my balance being paid in), and like some others in here, I'm getting the RPS01 error code when trying to pay money out. Live chat saying that not all checks have been completed yet (eye roll) and the app will send a notification when all features are unlocked. Has anyone else had this issue and notification?

I will be glad when the bonus is paid (it seems everyone on this thread is waiting for that) and I can switch out again to a proper bank (again, that seems to be the consensus here)!

@Ponchos it's hardly surprising there are so many pages with Barclays bumbling (bungling?) ineptitude, coupled to so many posts about the Blue Rewards scheme which might have been better in a separate thread...

Opened at 1 o'clock, deposited funds, authorised the card into my Apple wallet and used it at Tesco at 3 o'clock

You haven't met the criteria, so I'd be surprised if you got it.

After all the faffing around, I want the bonus cash! I have another account though so I can still spend normally, just wanted to transfer money out.

@harz99 Absolutely spot on!

I was also wondering when the £5 from Blue Rewards gets added, is it as soon as the £800 and two DDs have been fulfilled, or is it on a set date each month?
