  • A TSB problem which delayed switches was if you also had the TSB saver account.  I had one of these and read about it delaying switches on this thread.  To close it down I had to install the app and could then shut it down.

Later in one of those out-of-date letters that comes and refers to thing about to happen which already occurred a week ago, there was mention if the fact I had a TSB saver and need to close it.  I can’t remember if that was in a letter from TSB or Barclays.

I was one who got he cash back on 20 Nov.

Have had £10 cash back from Nov debit card spends.  Have been charged £5 blue rewards fee.  Not had a £5 payout from blue rewards yet.  Watching out for that.  Done some spending in debit card to get the £10 cash back this month.  Then closing blue rewards and will be keeping an eye out for my next switch.

I presume you meant to say that you got the £175 switch incentive on 20/11?, not cashback...

Well I’ve cocked this up. 2 DD’s set up and in my switch account app confirmed but because a payment hasn’t been taken yet on the Barclays letter they aren’t listed. Oh well  :'(

I successfully switched several DDs that had never paid out of my donor account. They were all listed on the letter from Barclays and transferred to my new account. I didn't even remember they were on the account, as it was an Ulster one that doesn't list DDs until they've paid out for the first time.

Morning all, a quickie...has anyone on this switch journey ever had an email, message, or text to say they've qualified for the incentive £175 payment please?

Is there still no payment since the 20th
My switch completed on 22nd and no payment as yet
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
  • My switch completed on 10th November and no payment received yet. By my calculation, the 28 working days will be up on Friday 22nd.
So not long to wait now....
  • My switch took place on Friday 17 November.  Two DDs came out on 1/12; £5 in/£5 out of Blue Rewards so broken even plus £10 cashback for both November and December.  NO REWARD to date!

Husband similar scenario although £5 Blue Reward taken and not paid in - perhaps because his DDs aren't due to leave until later this month? NO REWARD to date!

Same for me, fingers crossed for this week!  However, I worked out that 28 working days from 10th November is Wed 20th December.
